　フジクリーン工業株式会社（本社：名古屋市千種区、代表取締役社長：木村秀昭）はこの度、経済産業省の2020年版「グローバルニッチトップ企業１００選」に認定されました。
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　
　経済産業省の2020年版「グローバルニッチトップ企業100選」は、デジタル経済の進展や世界の政治経済情勢の変動、少子高齢化のような社会構造変化など、日本企業を取り巻く事業環境が変化している状況を踏まえ、このような新たな厳しい経済環境の中においてもニッチ分野で勝ち抜いている企業や、サプライチェーン上の重要性を増している部素材等の事業を有する企業を選定するものです。
　前回（2013年度）に続き、2回目となる今回の選定審査では、世界シェアと利益の両立、技術の独自性と自立性、サプライチェーン上の重要性に着目し、「収益性」「競争優位性」「戦略性」「国際性」を重視し、2020年版「グローバルニッチトップ企業100選」として113社が選定されました。

　弊社は今回初めて認定されました。認定の理由は、弊社の高度処理浄化槽技術の独自性と競争優位性などが評価されたものです。
　現在、環境保全問題のなかでも、水に関するものは世界各地で重要視されており、水質保全の観点から下水の高度処理への関心が高まっています。一方で世界の国、地域の排水処理の基準は、標準化されておらず、かつ浄化槽においては国・地域ごとに異なる認証が必要という高いハードルが存在しています。そのなかで弊社の高度処理浄化槽システムは、これまでに培った開発力と技術力を活かして製品化しており、こうした課題に貢献し、国際競争力の向上へ役立てるよう努めています。

【認定された製品・弊社事業について】
製　　品：家庭用工場生産型高度下水処理システム（高度処理浄化槽）
事業概要：弊社は下水道と同等の処理性能を持つ浄化槽の国内トップシェアメーカーであり、下水処理装置の設計、製造、施工、メンテナンスまでの一貫したシステムを構築しています。この下水処理技術をパッケージ化し、海外でも短期間、低コストでの設置を可能にしています。弊社の高度処理浄化槽システムは、窒素・リン除去機能が高く、コンパクトで投資効果も高いことから、地域政府関係機関からも評価を得ています。また、現地へ弊社の技術者を派遣し、施工やメンテナンス技術の現地移転を行い、納入後の管理を現地で円滑に実施できるシステムを構築しています。

今後の取り組み：先進国では、既存の下水処理施設による更新および高度処理化への重要度が増しています。一方で、人口増加、急激な経済の進行とともに、水使用量が急増している新興国においては、水質保全対策が追いついていないのが現状です。
　分散型で工期やコストの利点が生みやすい弊社製品で、汚水処理基準が存在する先進国と基準のない新興国に対し、それぞれに適した下水処理システムの提案と普及により、効率的に課題解決へ貢献します。また施工やメンテナンス技術の移転により、持続可能な下水処理システム構築の実現を目指します。

FUJI CLEAN CO., LTD. gave a presentation concerning "Jokaso" (on-site wastewater treatment systems) to the Senior Officials' Meeting at APEC Philippines 2015 (held on September 1).

Background of Presentation
In response to a request from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, Fuji Clean President Kaichi Watanabe gave a presentation as a representative of on-site wastewater treatment system manufacturers, focusing on the superiority of Jokaso.

Presentation Content
We explained the role played by the outstanding water treatment device, known as a "Jokaso" in Japanese, in remedying the water pollution that occurred throughout the course of economic development in our country after World War II, as well as the benefits of introducing Jokaso in promoting the improvement of infrastructure to solve environmental problems like water pollution, which may occur hereafter as emerging nations in Asia and other regions develop economically. Moreover, as a challenge when bringing in Jokaso, we proposed that it is important to prepare a legal framework and establish a structure for maintenance as existing in Japan. Topics that attracted much interest locally included the initiatives which have been carried out in Japan for improving the waterfront environment, the development of Jokaso, and case studies of tangible water quality improvements utilizing Jokaso.

At present, many countries throughout the world face difficulty in securing hygienic water because of pollution from domestic sewage. Through this presentation, we sensed the magnitude of interest and expectation toward Jokaso that exists overseas, and are redoubling our efforts so that the technology and experience our company has concerning Jokaso might be of even greater use in the establishment of sewage treatment infrastructure around the world.
