On January 27, 2016, Japan Duty Free Fa-So-La Isetan Mitsukoshi Co., Ltd. opened &amp;quot;Japan Duty Free GINZA,&amp;quot; Japan&#039;s first-ever (outside Okinawa) airport-style duty-free shop, on the 8th floor of Mitsukoshi Ginza Store. By making available in the city an airport-style duty-free shop that exempts shoppers from customs duties, and consumption, liquor and tobacco taxes, not only can inbound foreign travelers be serviced but Japanese air passengers can also be provided with a new style of shopping prior to their own departure. &lt;br /&gt;
