Aeronext Forms Partnership with Leaguer Group for Business Development in China
Aeronext Inc. (hereafter Aeronext), a Tokyo-based company developing next-generation drones, has signed an MOU with China’s leading technology supporter Leaguer Group Co., Ltd. (hereafter Leaguer), an auxiliary group of the Shenzhen Tsinghua University Research Institute (hereafter RITS) in China, to provide strategic support for Aeronext’s business development in China.

Aeronext's unique "4D GRAVITY (R)" technology for center-of-gravity control is fundamental re-examination and development of the structure of UAV aircraft, and represents stability and reliability not possible with conventional drones. This means an expanded range of applications for drones. The company has already announced several prototypes of drones equipped with 4D GRAVITY (R) in its industrial drone "Next" series, capable of a wide range of applications. In May, Aeronext established a new subsidiary, Aeronext Shenzhen Ltd., in Shenzhen, China, to enhance its 4D GRAVITY (R) technology license business in the Chinese market.

A milestone in Chinese market development was the “Nanshan Entrepreneurship Star Contest 2018” competition held in Shenzhen last November, where Aeronext won both the third-place prize overall and the Intellectual Property Award. This event was held by the Nanshan District People's Government of Shenzhen City, and the National Qualifying Round at “Nanshan Entrepreneurship Star Contest 2018 Shibuya” in Japan, where Aeronext came out a winner, was held by RITS and Leaguer. Aeronext is grateful for all of the support from Leaguer and RITS, as well as the Shenzhen City Drone Industry Association, regarding business development in China. The company is also grateful for the support from Mizuho Bank, which was one of the support companies for the National Qualifying Round at “Nanshan Entrepreneurship Star Contest 2018 Shibuya,” ranging from preparations to actual establishment of operations in China.

Established in 1999, Leaguer is a subsidiary of RITS, co-founded by Tsinghua University, the top Chinese school in China, and the Shenzhen City Government, and is one of the earliest technology innovation service institutions in China. It focuses on technology industrialization, management of industrial parks and investment activities, and promotes and supports efforts to generate technology innovation. Since its establishment, it offers innovation resources and funding opportunities, entrepreneurship, business expansion support, and more, and has an extensive track record in supporting a wide range of technology companies.

Aeronext’s alliance with Leaguer, which actively supports technology innovation in China, is a major step toward achieving Aeronext's vision of developing a “drone-premised society" and “the new airspace economy,” and advancing industrial drones.

and 3rd Drone World Congress
Aeronext Inc., a Tokyo-based company developing next-generation drones, will participate in “The 4th Shenzhen International UAV EXPO 2019” to be held from June 20 (Thursday) to 22 (Saturday) at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in China. Aeronext will exhibit a Next INDUSTRY (R) mass production trial with its proprietary "4D Gravity (R)" center of gravity control technology, produced firstly in China and customized for bridge inspection work, and some other “Next Series” prototypes will also be featured at the event.

Aeronext will also participate for the first time in The 3rd Drone World Congress, to be held at the same venue during the same period, and plans to make an announcement about business expansion and activity in China.

The 4th Shenzhen International UAV EXPO 2019 is the largest UAV industrial expo in China to be held in Shenzhen where hundreds of drone-related companies exist. The Shenzhen International UAV EXPO began in 2016 and this will be the 4th time it has been held. Aeronext will participate in this show for the first time.

To promote its proprietary 4D Gravity (R) technology-licensing business in the Chinese market, Aeronext established “Aeronext Shenzhen Ltd.” in May, which represents the first step in its global strategy. Aeronext sees China as the most important market for its global strategy in the coming year. This exhibition also serves as a platform to display Aeronext's technology and business model, as well as an opportunity to talk directly with potential partners regarding application development and customer development in China.

CES Asia is the Asian edition of the world's largest Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held every January in Las Vegas, USA. CES Asia began in 2015 and this will be the 5th time it has been held. Aeronext received an invitation to an event preceding CES 2019, "Show Stoppers,” for winning the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at CEATEC JAPAN 2018 held in Japan last October. CES Asia will be the company’s first full-scale event with an exhibition booth.
