EAST END HIGHLANDERS, a Japan-made children’s apparel brand operated by Northern Sky Inc., registered in Osaka and based in Kyoto, bringing together exceptional craftsmanship from across Japan, will host its ﬁrst-ever international pop-up store in Le Marais, Paris, France, for a limited time. Founded on the concept of "a brand for children that makes every adult envious," the brand combines Japan’s reﬁned sewing and tailoring expertise with carefully selected materials and the skills of experienced artisans from across the country.

-Beginning with what it envisioned as "the 'most Japanese' shirt in the world," the brand embodies the distinctly Japanese qualities of courtesy, refinement, and meticulous attention to detail.

-Working with exceptional materials and artisans from across Japan, the brand creates shirts and denim featuring fabrics from the Kojima area, Okayama, widely recognized as the birthplace of Japanese denim. Its bow ties are made with traditional Nishijin-ori textiles from Kyoto, while knitwear is produced by highly skilled artisans in Niigata.

At the pop-up, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the collection firsthand and discover the beauty, precision, and understated elegance of Japanese craftsmanship.

In addition to the children’s collection, the pop-up will feature adult sizes, ceramics from Kyoto, and incense from Kyoto-based brand ichiko ichie. Japanese cultural workshops, including origami, Japanese paper folding art, will also be offered, creating an opportunity for children from around the world to experience Japanese culture and spark their curiosity about Japan.

This pop-up marks a new chapter for EAST END HIGHLANDERS and Northern Sky Inc., bringing the value of Japanese craftsmanship, culture, and thoughtful design to audiences in France and beyond.
