BALIKPAPAN, Indonesia, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- XCMG broke ground on the XCMG Indonesia Remanufacturing Center on Sept. 16 in Balikpapan, Indonesia. As XCMG's first overseas base dedicated to the overhaul and remanufacturing of mining equipment components, the project marks the start of a localized aftermarket service center supporting equipment throughout its operational lifecycle and represents a key step in the company's overseas localization strategy.

XCMG Breaks Ground on Its First Overseas Base for Mining Equipment Component Overhaul and Remanufacturing in Indonesia

The center will integrate the overhaul and remanufacturing of core components, regional parts warehousing, local technical talent development and used-equipment refurbishment. It will connect key processes including used-component recovery and inspection, repair and remanufacturing, parts supply and on-site service, creating a localized aftermarket service system spanning the operational lifecycle of mining equipment.

Designed to meet local customer needs, the center will adopt global remanufacturing standards and a lean quality management system. Once operational, major overhaul work can be carried out locally, shortening equipment downtime and service response times while helping ensure restored component performance. These capabilities are expected to help customers better manage operating costs, improve equipment availability and increase operational efficiency, while accelerating XCMG's transition from an equipment supplier to a provider of full-lifecycle solutions.

"With the remanufacturing center located here, overhaul and spare-parts support will be faster, and downtime-related losses will be easier to control," said an Indonesian mining customer representative. "This gives us greater confidence in deepening our cooperation with XCMG."

After more than 30 years in Indonesia, XCMG has steadily expanded its localized capabilities across the equipment value chain. The groundbreaking is the latest in a series of milestones advancing the company's local operations this year.

Days earlier, XCMG officially introduced XCMG Indonesia Finance Company (ABC Multi Finance) at Mining Indonesia 2026, held Sept. 9-12 in Jakarta. The move expanded XCMG's local capabilities beyond equipment, technology and services to include integrated financing solutions.

Earlier this year, the company also completed and commissioned its Indonesia New Energy Manufacturing Base, bringing manufacturing and delivery closer to the local market. It inaugurated an Indonesia R&D center focused on adapting equipment to high-temperature, humid environments and complex operating conditions.

By extending its existing R&D, manufacturing, supply, sales, service and financing capabilities into localized component overhaul and remanufacturing, XCMG aims to provide more comprehensive solutions for Indonesia's mining and infrastructure sectors and support their transition toward greener, more efficient operations.
SHANGHAI, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, Huawei unveiled its upgraded Stellar AI Network Solution under the philosophy of secure, intelligent connectivity. With stand-out features such as efficient computing production, lossless delivery, and superfast application, this future-ready solution unleashes computing productivity while safeguarding services in the AI era.

Leon Wang, President of Huawei's Data Communication Product Line, delivering a speech

Driven by explosive AI adoption, daily token consumption has surged 260-fold in a year. Huawei's upgraded Stellar AI Network—spanning AI Fabric, AI WAN, and AI Campus—responds to this by focusing on intelligent connectivity and security.

Stellar AI Fabric 2.0

・Intelligent connectivity: To tackle challenges like surging networking costs, slow protocol conversion, and traffic retransmissions caused by link flapping, Huawei has introduced the UBG switch SF9300 series. Paired with Ascend A5/A6, it forms a full-series UBG compute-network integrated solution. Specifically, two-layer multi-plane architecture eliminates the core layer, cutting network deployment costs by 30%. The unified protocol reduces end-to-end latency from 20 μs to 11 μs. Link-Layer Retransmission (LLR) achieves zero packet loss during link flaps, reducing annual cluster service downtime by 100 hours. Huawei also unveiled its fully in-house CloudEngine XH9300-EN series NPO switches, delivering three major breakthroughs. First, centralized light-source design lowers interconnect power consumption from 1,000 W to 600 W, saving cluster electricity costs. Second, near-packaged architecture reduces optical-electrical conversion latency by 180 ns, optimizing single-node latency by 26%. Third, pluggable snap-fit structure enables on-site replacement, shortening fault recovery time from days to hours.
・Security: Huawei's Three-Layer Security Guardrail Solution defends against hashrate theft, prompt injection, and model poisoning. Specifically, Network Guardrail features an integrated cryptojacking detection model delivering a 95% detection rate with millisecond-level malicious traffic blocking. Agent Guardrail guards against prompt injection attacks with 95% accuracy at under 150 ms latency. Host Guardrail performs real-time monitoring of malicious processes while keeping CPU usage below 1%. At a real-world customer site, the solution identified 415 high-risk vulnerabilities and 322 threat events in its first seven days—leveraging AI to safeguard AI and ensure secure token production.

Stellar AI WAN

・Intelligent connectivity: Cross-region computing faces issues like severe efficiency loss, high on-premises costs, and expensive private lines. To address these, Huawei's Stellar AI WAN Solution enables lossless delivery of computing power over 1,000 km: The Starnet lossless algorithm eliminates long-distance packet loss, boosting remote computing efficiency to over 95%. The XH computing-network appliance uses the layerwise model partitioning algorithm to run initial and final layers locally, transmitting only high-dimensional vectors over the network. This ensures raw data remains strictly on-premises and reduces initial branch xPU costs fourfold. Furthermore, computation-communication overlapping cuts bandwidth idle time by over 80% and reduces required bandwidth fivefold.
・Security: Huawei's multi-dimensional WAN defense technology counters novel vectors like APTs and HNDL attacks. At the device layer, intrinsic security boards block intrusions in real time, trace threats within minutes at over 95% accuracy, and visualize up to 100-hop attack paths. At the link layer, built-in QKD delivers robust quantum security without extra devices, cutting construction costs by over 60% while extending transmission distance to 80 km. At the network layer, APN6-based data fencing enables network-wide control over traffic paths, ensuring the secure circulation of sensitive data.

Stellar AI Campus Network

・Intelligent connectivity: With enterprise agent adoption expected to approach 50% this year, manual O&M falls short of 24/7 demands, making minute-level fault recovery a must. Huawei meets this by upgrading all-scenario network autonomy across data, models, and tools. Specifically, proprietary network awareness technology supports the collection of over 25 exclusive data types with a 100 ms sampling cycle to precisely detect subtle anomalies. The Deep Causal Pruning (DCP) algorithm optimizes AI models, cutting inference errors by over 20% while boosting troubleshooting accuracy to 95%. iFlow 2.0 distributed simulation technology ensures 24/7 continuous verification of inference paths. This enables network-wide AI-powered operations, slashing MTTR to under 5 minutes and ensuring mission-critical service experience.
・Security: Today's enterprises struggle with the rapid compromise of dumb terminals and hidden malicious interactions by agents. Huawei's Stellar AI Campus Network Asset Security 2.0 solution addresses these through endpoint-network collaborative protection. By embedding AI micro-models into switches, the solution cuts dumb-terminal threat detection time from 5 minutes to under 10 seconds. Powered by proprietary AI Core small models and NPU semantic large models, it fully reconstructs agent interaction scenarios, boosting the malicious command detection rate to 95%. This eliminates hidden risks and safeguards campus networks and services.

Looking ahead, Huawei will continue to innovate its Stellar AI Network products and solutions in line with the "AI for All, All on Secure IP" vision, maximizing the value of every connection together with customers and partners in the AI era.
KUNMING, China, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- A news report from China Report ASEAN:

A group of Indonesian rural officials arrived in China on September 9 for a week-long study tour to Kunming, Xishuangbanna, and other parts of Yunnan Province as part of the 2026 Indonesian Rural Officials Training Program, also known as the sixth "Village Heads Class." The program is giving participants a close-up look at China's experience in rural revitalization, grassroots governance, distinctive local industry development, and efforts to benefit farmers and boost rural incomes.

Hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia and organized by Yunnan Minzu University, this program brought together more than 20 Indonesian village officials and relevant staff. The opening and welcome ceremony drew officials from relevant Chinese and Indonesian departments, faculty and student representatives from Yunnan Minzu University, and media representatives, including those from CICG Asia-Pacific.

Wang Xiangang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Yunnan Provincial People's Government, said Yunnan—once a key battleground in China's fight against poverty—has marked a historic milestone by eradicating absolute poverty. The province has bolstered safeguards against a return to poverty, refined mechanisms that connect farmers with industry and share development benefits with them, advanced highland agriculture with distinctive local features, and built labor service brands that help rural workers find stable employment. It has also sent numerous village-based work teams, upgraded rural infrastructure and living conditions, and cultivated rural long-stay tourism. Together, these efforts have provided Yunnan with extensive experience in rural development. Today, the province is the world's leading flower producer, its coffee, blueberry, and avocado industries are flourishing, and its agricultural exports have long outpaced those of other western provinces and regions in China.

Wang Xiangang noted that Yunnan and Indonesia enjoy deep historical ties: Yunnan is the birthplace of the great Chinese navigator Zheng He. Friendly exchanges between the two sides—and people-to-people exchanges in particular—have gained strong momentum. In science and technology, Yunnan helped build Indonesia's first waste gasification power plant and deepened cooperation on vaccines and coffee breeding. In agriculture, the two sides partnered on an organic rice project that has significantly raised local grain output, with follow-up projects on photovoltaic lighting and organic farming upgrades in the pipeline. Overall, bilateral cooperation rests on a solid foundation and has produced fruitful results, with broad prospects ahead.

Ruan Chaoqi, Party Secretary of Yunnan Minzu University and Director of Yunnan Training Base for Ethnic Minority Cadres, expressed his hope that the program will help Indonesian participants strengthen their governance capacity and overall competence—and, in turn, contribute more to the comprehensive strategic mutual trust between China and Indonesia. Such people-to-people exchanges and experience-sharing, he noted, will bolster connectivity, deepen cultural exchange, and bring the two peoples closer, creating more opportunities for high-quality Belt and Road cooperation. On behalf of Yunnan Minzu University, he also hoped that more Indonesian officials and young students would choose Yunnan for study and exchange, so that the two sides can learn from each other and grow together.

Indonesia has more than 80,000 villages, each with its own resource endowments. Mulyadin Malik, Head of the Agency for Development and Information at Indonesia's Ministry of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions, said the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision positions villages as key players in economic development, and Indonesia has rolled out 12 village action plans. Under a multi-stakeholder mechanism, the government, businesses, universities, financial institutions, local communities, and international development partners all contribute to rural development—particularly in food, energy, and water security, export industry incubation, digital transformation, and climate change response. These efforts have yielded substantive progress.

Mulyadin Malik stressed that rural development is vital to a country's progress and future—a view both Indonesia and China share. Though separated by the sea, the two countries enjoy a long-standing friendship. On October 17, 2023, the two sides signed a memorandum of understanding in Beijing on cooperation in rural development and poverty reduction, setting up a framework for policy exchanges, experience-sharing, and capacity-building in these areas. As a concrete example of cooperation under this framework, the Indonesian Rural Officials Training Program seeks to promote mutual learning through the sharing of experience.

"We look forward to learning from China's valuable experience in rural development and adapting it to the resource endowments and on-the-ground needs of Indonesian villages before putting it into practice," said Mulyadin Malik. He hoped that this program will help Indonesian rural specialty products access the Chinese market, strengthen village economies, expand business networks, and improve the well-being of rural communities—ultimately helping build a mutually beneficial partnership between the two countries.

The Joint Statement Between the People's Republic of China and the Republic of Indonesia on Advancing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the China-Indonesia Community with a Shared Future, issued in 2024, explicitly states that the two sides will expand cooperation in poverty alleviation and reduction, agriculture, and rural revitalization, jointly promote agricultural and rural modernization, and steadily improve the well-being of both peoples.

Launched in 2019, the Indonesian Rural Officials Training Program has held six sessions to date, giving more than 100 Indonesian village heads firsthand exposure to rural development in China. After returning home, participants tailored what they had learned to local conditions, yielding a set of cooperation projects that are substantive, replicable, and scalable. Their efforts have helped make mutual learning on grassroots governance a regular feature of China-Indonesia exchanges, turning the program into a signature "small yet beautiful" cooperation project under the Belt and Road Initiative—one closely tied to people's livelihoods and highly exemplary—and earning high praise from the heads of state of both countries.

During the field trip, participants visited Haiyan Village to see rural revitalization in action; explored Luosiwan International Trade City and Dounan Flower Market to learn about trade and specialty industry growth; and traveled to Xishuangbanna, where they got a firsthand look at the local coffee industry, a new business model built on the joint development of three villages, intangible cultural heritage preservation, and digital agriculture bases. They also examined how specialty industries boost rural incomes, how ethnic culture is preserved and passed on, and how new rural business models take shape. Through exchanges with grassroots officials and staff, they gained firsthand insight into China's approach to rural development.

On September 13, grassroots officials from China and Indonesia engaged in a dialogue at the village library in Manzhao Village Group, Menghai County, Yunnan Province. There, the Chinese hosts presented the Indonesian guests with books as study materials, including the English edition of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China (Volume V) and Up and Out of Poverty.

Through this program, the two sides hope to deepen experience-sharing in rural development, strengthen market connectivity, and advance coordinated capacity-building. In doing so, they aim to inject fresh momentum into rural cooperation under the China-Indonesia comprehensive strategic partnership.
Turning Real Production-Line Challenges into Research Questions

WUXI, China, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Centron signed an industry-academia-research cooperation agreement with the team of Professor Zhang Xiangyu from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tsinghua University during the 2026 Xishan Technology Transfer Conference held on Sept. 15 in Wuxi.

The agreement was signed under the Xishan-Tsinghua industry-academia collaboration program, which promotes cooperation through a practical model in which enterprises raise questions, universities contribute research-based approaches, and the market tests results in application.

In adhesive dispensing, the main challenge is rarely a single piece of equipment. It lies in process consistency, where dispensing volume, path, cycle time and substrate condition are closely coupled. Addressing such issues requires not only experimental data, but also long-term validation under real production conditions.

Centron has accumulated application and validation experience in dispensing, potting and trickle impregnation across manufacturing scenarios including automotive body shop, final assembly, battery pack production and e-drive applications. Tsinghua University's Department of Mechanical Engineering brings strengths in fluid control, precision equipment and engineering research methods. This type of collaboration helps connect production-side conditions with structured research tools.

For customers, what matters is not only individual equipment performance, but also consistency, traceability and reliability across the production line. Cooperation between industry and academia can help shorten the path between technical verification and practical application, supporting more stable process solutions in demanding manufacturing environments.

More broadly, such collaboration creates a closer link between the laboratory and the factory floor, allowing research to engage earlier with manufacturing constraints and practical challenges to return earlier to the research stage. Over time, that connection can become an important part of how industrial know-how and engineering research reinforce each other.

About Centron
Centron is a high-tech enterprise integrating R&D, manufacturing, sales and customer service, dedicated to delivering advanced, reliable and precise dispensing, potting and trickle impregnation solutions for the automotive, e-mobility, energy storage battery and industrial manufacturing sectors. Building on its continued investment in process automation and digital traceability, Centron supports customers in achieving consistent quality performance and efficient operations at scale.
What other games has Moscow Game Hub brought to Tokyo Game Show?

TOKYO, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Tokyo Game Show 2026 is a milestone edition, running five days and gathering companies from 53 countries. The Moscow Game Hub booth deserves special attention: 12 Moscow studios present 29 projects, 19 localized into Japanese.

Horror games form the largest showcase section, with six innovative titles. Tiny Bunny (Game Art Pioneers) is a non-linear visual novel about a boy in a remote taiga village; player choices shape the story, with dozens of possible endings. The Black Ice is survival horror set at abandoned Vostok Antarctic station, where players uncover staff's fate amid constant resource shortages. Fans of Exit 8 will enjoy Cauldron Inn, a dark folktale rooted in Slavic mythology where players spot anomalies in repeating locations to escape. In Run Away From Me: Alexandra, standard UI gives way to the heroine's fitness tracker and phone screen, and panic directly impacts quest-solving ability. FIRE AND ASHES is immersive first-person horror reacting to sound: a scream may solve puzzles, yet only total silence can save you.

Among action titles, TSAREVNA: Age of Tales (WATT Studio) stands out. Drawing on Slavic folktales, ballet serves as a weapon. Its combat animations were made with a Bolshoi prima ballerina in a 60-camera Moscow motion-capture studio. Showcase premiere PIO: A Robot's Story (Black Caviar Games) is a Souls-lite adventure following inventor Kira and robot PIO. Its TGS 2026 demo opens the story's first chapter.

Three metroidvanias are on display: Slavania, Awaken: Astral Blade and Eclipse 2: Invasion of Darkness, blending metroidvania and hack-and-slash.

"Horror is the largest block at our booth — and that is a deliberate choice. Japan is where the genre was born, and we are bringing a Moscow reading of it to the audience that knows it best. Nineteen of our titles are already localized into Japanese. At a show with four thousand booths, what makes a visitor stop is a mechanic they have not seen before," said Anastasia Rybkina, Head of Moscow Game Hub.

While showcasing titles, developers negotiate Japanese-market publishing deals. They offer Japanese companies localization and outsourced development for Russian-language audiences — Russian is among Steam's top-3 languages. Moscow Game Hub hosts 70 resident companies with infrastructure from motion capture to sound recording.
Encouraging travel and fuelling discovery beyond Japan's tourism hotspots

SINGAPORE, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- In collaboration with Kagoshima Prefecture, Klook, a leading pan-regional experiences platform in Asia Pacific, launches a campaign that subsidizes international visitors' Shinkansen fares.

Klook and Kagoshima Prefecture Launch Free Shinkansen Campaign for International Travelers

The collaboration begins with a limited-time campaign starting from 18 September 2026 across eight markets: The United States, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China.

Travelers from these markets, who arrive via Fukuoka Airport and book at least one night at a participating Kagoshima hotel through Klook, will receive a free one-way Shinkansen ticket (up to 11,420 yen) from Hakata to Kagoshima.

[CAMPAIGN DETAILS]

・Campaign Period: 18 September 2026 – 28 February 2027 or while stocks last, whichever occurs first.
・Campaign Details: Tickets equivalent to a one-way Shinkansen fare from Hakata to Kagoshima (up to 11,420 yen) will be provided
・Eligible Countries and Regions: United States, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China
・Eligibility Requirements: Travelers who transit through Fukuoka Airport and book a hotel in Kagoshima Prefecture for at least one night via Klook

Recommendation from Mr. Koichi Shioda, Governor of Kagoshima Prefecture

"Kagoshima is a destination of extraordinary diversity, where dramatic natural landscapes, exceptional cuisine, and rich history and culture come together. From Sakurajima, one of the world's most active volcanoes, to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage islands of Yakushima, Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima, and our unique natural sand bath hot springs, there is much for visitors to discover.

Kagoshima is also home to some of Japan's finest produce, including award-winning Kagoshima Wagyu, as well as matcha tea, black pork, yellowtail, amberjack and eel. Visitors can also experience our deep cultural heritage through landmarks such as the National Treasure Kirishima Shrine and traditions rooted in Kagoshima's samurai history.

We hope this campaign inspires more travelers to discover Kagoshima and experience the many things that make our prefecture special. We look forward to welcoming visitors from around the world."

"Fukuoka is the main gateway to Kyushu for many international travelers, yet few venture further south, even though Kagoshima is only around 80 minutes away by Shinkansen," said Wataru Masuda, General Manager of Klook Japan. "That means Kagoshima often sits outside the typical international travel itinerary. By making it easier for travelers to discover and experience the prefecture, we can help extend their journeys beyond the usual routes, bring more visitors to Kagoshima, and create more opportunities for local merchants and tour operators."

Klook's Dispersal Track Record: What Hiroshima Demonstrated

Kagoshima is not Klook's first effort at redirecting international travelers from major gateways to emerging destinations in Japan.

Hiroshima offers a strong precedent.

There, Klook worked with local authorities and merchant partners to bundle Shinkansen access with local experiences through the Klook Pass Hiroshima, which saw sales increase more than twelvefold after launch.

In 2026, Klook's Kreatorverse Japan also brought around 120 content creators from 20 markets to Hiroshima, helping drive a sustained increase in monthly booking traffic to the destination.

Klook now tracks booking growth outside Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka against growth within those cities as an ongoing measure of whether its dispersal efforts are working.

The results have been significant. Hiroshima product revenue grew 30% year-on-year in 2026 year-to-date, outpacing Klook's overall growth in Japan.

These results provide the clearest precedent for the Kagoshima partnership: not a one-off ticket promotion, but a broader, multi-channel effort combining product bundling, creator content, destination marketing, and digital access to build sustained travel demand over time.

What's Next: Klook Pass Kagoshima

Klook held an in-person seminar for Kagoshima merchants last month, helping local businesses digitize their operations and onboard onto the Klook platform. The next step is to develop the Klook Pass Kagoshima, a bundled experiences product modeled on Klook Pass Hiroshima.

This aims to remove a second layer of friction: what to do in Kagoshima. With Klook Pass Kagoshima, travelers can spend less time planning and more time enjoying a curated selection of local experiences bundled into one convenient, value-driven pass.
CHANGZHOU, China, Sept. 18, 2026 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/--

On September 17, Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue 2026 was held at the China-Germany (Changzhou) Innovation Industrial Park. Centered on the theme "Promoting Energy Transition for Shared Green Development," the event explored new opportunities in the energy transition and green development, as well as new pathways for China-Germany industrial cooperation.

Changzhou has long regarded Germany as an important partner for international cooperation. The city currently has seven sister-city partnerships with German cities, accounting for about one-third of Jiangsu Province's total. Nearly 300 German-funded companies have established operations in Changzhou, while Changzhou-based companies have invested in 66 projects in Germany. In recent years, cooperation between Changzhou and Germany has continued to expand across industries, R&D and talent development.

German companies continue to deepen their presence in Changzhou, reflecting their confidence in long-term development in China. According to the latest survey, 61 percent of German companies plan to increase their investment in China over the next two years. At the same time, German companies are further localizing their operations and integrating into China's business and innovation ecosystem, creating new opportunities for cooperation between companies from the two countries.

Green transformation has become an important area of China-Germany economic and trade cooperation. In 2025, Chinese companies launched 228 investment projects in Germany, with investments related to green transformation and the circular economy accounting for more than one-third of the total. During the event, eight China-Germany cooperation projects were unveiled, while the Changzhou German Enterprise Incubation Service Platform was officially launched to provide professional support for more German SMEs seeking to establish operations, commercialize technologies and expand their markets in China.

A highlight of this year's Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue was the debut of "AHK Innovation Night." The energy-focused session covered emerging fields including energy transition, industrial energy efficiency, zero-carbon energy supply and smart energy storage. Through project pitches and technology exchanges, it facilitated connections between innovative resources from China and Germany. Looking ahead, Changzhou will continue to leverage the Jiangsu-Germany Dialogue platform to promote green technology innovation, strengthen industrial and supply-chain cooperation, facilitate the implementation of more joint projects, and further deepen local cooperation between China and Germany.

BEIJING, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- iQIYI, China's leading online entertainment platform, is well positioned to capitalize on the growing trend toward big-screen viewing, as the big screen increasingly becomes a key destination for long-form video consumption.

Behind this trend is a rising bar for viewing experience. The big screen's natural advantages — audio-visual quality, immersion, and shared family viewing — make it a more fitting home for premium long-form content. As big-screen viewing continues to gain momentum, iQIYI's big-screen business has become an increasingly important driver of user scale, engagement, and monetization.

A Global Trend Toward the Big-Screen

This shift is part of a broader global trend toward big-screen streaming. The worldwide Connected TV (CTV) market is projected to reach USD 260.56 billion in 2026 and expand at a 6.03% CAGR through 2032, with the Asia-Pacific region accounting for approximately 45% of total demand, according to MarkNtel Advisors. In the United States, streaming accounted for 48.6% of total TV watch time in May 2026, with YouTube representing 13.8% and Netflix at 8.0%, according to Nielsen's monthly "The Gauge" report.

The shift is also visible across other markets. In Poland, for example, Nielsen found that Netflix's share of viewing on TV screens rose from 83% in May to 86% in June 2026, reflecting what Nielsen described as a broader trend of digital platforms strengthening their presence on the household's largest screen. Together, these developments point to the growing role of the big screen as a key destination for streaming, particularly for premium and long-form content.

A Growing Audience

According to China's leading big data intelligence services provider QuestMobile, active smart TV devices reached 302 million in June 2026, up 12.04 million year-over-year, with OTT monthly active devices continuing to grow. iQIYI's smart TV application, QIYIGuo TV, led the market with 141 million monthly active devices.

The scale of big-screen viewership extends well beyond what mobile numbers capture. QIYIGuo TV recorded 50.42 million daily active devices in June, slightly ahead of the 45.14 million daily active users on the iQIYI mobile app. But television is not a single-user device. According to Gozen Data, a leading cross-screen big data provider in China, each smart TV averages 2.6 viewers, implying iQIYI's big-screen content reaches approximately 130 million individual viewers daily — nearly three times its mobile daily active users (DAU).

Deeper Engagement

Scale only tells part of the story. What sets the big screen apart is how long audiences stay. Gozen Data shows that iQIYI TV users averaged 256 minutes of daily viewing in August, up 13 minutes from the prior month and growing for three consecutive months.

That engagement translates into willingness to pay. According to iiMedia Research, a leading new-economy research and data analytics firm in China, QIYIGuo TV ranked first among consumers' preferred TV video subscription services in 2026, with a 32.45% share. Paying habits on the big screen are well established, providing a solid foundation for monetization. Television viewing is also behaviorally different from mobile: sessions run longer, consumption is shared across the household, and immersion runs deeper. That makes the big screen a more natural home for long-form content and a more durable platform for subscription retention and advertising.

Stronger Content, Smarter Production

Big-screen engagement is built on content. This year, iQIYI has produced three dramas surpassing its content popularity index of 10,000 — a measure of audience engagement on the platform and a milestone typically associated with nationwide hit titles, including "The Punishment," "Born with Luck" and "Pursuit of Jade." Among this summer's new releases, iQIYI accounted for seven of the 15 dramas rated S+ across all platforms by Enlightent, a leading Chinese entertainment data provider, with all seven exclusively streamed on the platform.

Beyond content investment, iQIYI is driving efficiency through AI while expanding the possibilities of AI-powered storytelling. In July, iQIYI exclusively premiered "Mystic Tales: The Spider Lady's Vendetta" on iQIYI and iQIYI International, making it China's first AIGC internet feature film released under an Internet Drama and Film Distribution License. This was followed by the first two films in "The Ferry Man" AIGC series, "The Ferry Man: Butterfly Dream" and "The Ferry Man: The Dream of the Celestial Maiden," which generated over RMB 6 million in revenue-sharing box office within their first 10 days following their August 22 debut—an early signal that audiences are receptive to AI-produced premium content.

From a strong content slate to AI-driven efficiency, iQIYI is amplifying user value on the big screen through streamlined production and a more open, diverse content supply. As big-screen viewing continues its resurgence, iQIYI is well-positioned to capture the trend and reinforce its standing as a leading destination for long-form video in China.
The three-day learning event brings together soy industry professionals from across Asia for practical learning spanning processing technology, product development and consumer insights.

BANGKOK, Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Tetra Pak, in collaboration with the Soy Excellence Center Asia, a U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) initiative, hosted the Soy Food & Beverage Intermediate learning track from 15-17 September 2026 at Tetra Pak's Product Development Centre (PDC) in Rayong and Customer Innovation Centre (CIC) in Bangkok. The learning track brought together soy industry professionals from across Asia to strengthen their knowledge of soy beverage processing, formulation and consumer-led product development.

Soy Ingredients

Asia Pacific accounts for 75% of the global plant-based beverage volume.[1] In many Western markets, plant-based beverages are commonly positioned as alternatives to dairy. Across many Asian markets, however soy has long been an established part of the beverage category alongside other plant-based drinks.

As consumer preferences evolve and the range of plant-based products expands, the challenge for soy beverage manufacturers is to bring new value to a familiar category. This can mean exploring and developing new taste and texture profiles, addressing different nutritional needs and creating products for new consumption occasions and formats.

Over three days, the learning track explored opportunities across the soy beverage value chain, from soybean variety and supplier selection to formulation, processing technology, sensory evaluation and consumer understanding. Technical sessions were combined with hands-on learning and an ideation workshop, where participants developed soy beverage concepts tailored to specific consumer groups.

Sherry Chen, Center Lead, Soy Excellence Center Asia, said: "Growing the soy food and beverage category starts with understanding how decisions across the value chain, from soybean selection to processing and formulation, shape product quality and the consumer experience. The Soy Excellence Center Asia gives participants a practical learning environment to strengthen their technical skills and apply that knowledge directly to product development. Our collaboration with Tetra Pak brings this learning to life with hands-on experience, giving learners deeper insights into processing, formulation and consumer needs. By combining technical expertise with real-world application, we are equipping participants with practical insights they can use to innovate, improve products, and drive growth in their markets."

Across Tetra Pak's innovation ecosystem, participants worked across both the Customer Innovation Centre (CIC) in Bangkok and the Product Development Centre (PDC) in Rayong to gain end-to-end insights into soy beverage innovation and production.

At the CIC, sessions focused on product and consumer-led innovation, exploring plant-based trends across Asia Pacific, Tetra Pak's customer innovation ecosystem, functional ingredients, fermentation technologies and the utilisation of okara.

At the PDC, participants took part in hands-on demonstrations across key stages of aseptic soy beverage production, including extraction, blending and UHT processing, aseptic filling, and food development. Tetra Pak specialists also shared expertise in production technologies, operational efficiency, troubleshooting, soy waste management and beverage formulation.

Sutthinun Taechathayanon, Customer Experience Manager APAC, Tetra Pak, said: "Soy is already familiar to consumers across many Asian markets, creating a strong foundation for further innovation. By combining consumer insights with formulation and processing expertise, producers can identify opportunities to enhance taste, texture, nutrition, and convenience while developing products that respond to changing consumer needs and consumption occasions. Through Tetra Pak's CIC Bangkok and PDC Rayong, soy manufacturers can explore new product ideas, conduct trials, and accelerate the journey from concept to commercialization with greater confidence and reduced risk. Our continued collaboration with USSEC helps translate knowledge from across the soy value chain into practical product development opportunities for the industry."

The Soy Food & Beverage Intermediate learning track course builds on the long-standing partnership between Tetra Pak and USSEC, combining USSEC's expertise across the soy value chain with Tetra Pak's expertise in processing and product development to support continued innovation across Asia Pacific's soy food and beverage industry.

Claim independently assessed to be very substantial

LONDON, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- ATOME, the leading low-carbon fertiliser developer and the UK's only dedicated international industrial scale low-carbon fertiliser company, provides an update further to previous announcements regarding the Power Purchase Agreement ("PPA") for the Villeta Project in Paraguay ("Villeta" or "Project").

ATOME remains in discussions relating to ATOME's shovel ready Villeta Project, the largest single foreign industrial investment in the history of Paraguay totaling US$665 million. Notwithstanding this, ATOME as a public company, having received positive legal advice, is mindful of its responsibilities to its shareholders and its obligations to protect its legitimate rights.

Against this background on 17 September 2026, ATOME PLC, through White & Case LLP, will today serve a Notice of Dispute and Intent to Submit a Claim to Arbitration on the Republic of Paraguay ("the Notice") pursuant to the Agreement between the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the Government of Paraguay for the Promotion and Protection of Investments ("the BIT").

The Notice states that an investment dispute exists as a result of Paraguay's alleged acts and omissions in violation of the BIT, including its revocation of the Presidential Decrees issued by the Paraguayan State that supported the Project and provided certainty on term and price under the PPA.

The Notice urges the Paraguayan State to engage in discussions to amicably resolve the matter.

The UK Government has been informed of the submission of the Notice as has the Embassies of the EU, France, Germany and the United States in Paraguay as well as the Paraguayan Embassy in London. In accordance with the BIT, the Notice states if the dispute has not been resolved within a period of three months i.e. a viable resolution not achieved ATOME will pursue its claim under the BIT against Paraguay at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes in Washington D.C.

If allowed to be completed, the Project would make Paraguay a world leader in the production of green fertiliser and the fertiliser industry in South America, strengthening local and international food security, creating some 4,000 jobs during construction and over 1,000 jobs during operations, and making material contributions to the country's GDP and economy.

ATOME will continue to make constructive efforts to amicably resolve the relevant issues but will pursue its rights under international law if it deems necessary.

ATOME will continue to keep the market informed at all material times and in the meantime all other projects of ATOME continue unaffected.

For more information, please visit https://www.atomeplc.com

About ATOME

ATOME PLC is an AIM-listed company leading the international development of green fertiliser with a pipeline of projects across Latin America.

ATOME's projects are situated at the heart of one of the world's largest food export hubs - the Mercosur region in the Southern Cone of South America with the Argentinian and Brazilian markets next door. ATOME's production will disrupt the region's heavy dependence on imported fossil fuel generated fertiliser, contributing to regional food security goals.

In May 2026, ATOME declared unconditional Final Investment Decision on its flagship Villeta Project, Paraguay following the completion of US$665 million project finance backed by leading international development finance institutions and private infrastructure investors including IDB Invest, the Inter-American Development Bank's ("IDB") private sector lending arm; the International Finance Corporation ("IFC"), the World Bank Group's private sector lending arm; the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank ("FMO"); the European Investment Bank ("EIB"), the lending arm of the European Union; the Green Climate Fund, which is administered by the World Bank; the German Investment Corporation ("DEG"), a subsidiary of KfW, Germany's State-owned investment and development bank; Impact Fund Denmark, an investment arm of the Danish Government; and Hy24, the world's first and largest hydrogen private equity asset manager.

The Villeta Project benefits from a minimum 10-year Definitive Offtake Agreement signed with Yara International, the leading international fertiliser company, for offtake of all of Villeta's green fertiliser production, as well as a US$465 million fixed-price EPC contract with leading ammonia and fertiliser engineering specialist Casale S.A.

Roughly a third of human caused GHG emissions is linked to food production according to UN data, and fertiliser use and production is the source of more emissions than the shipping and aviation industries combined. ATOME's green Calcium Ammonium Nitrate product will contribute to decarbonising the food sector from the bottom up, getting to the root of the food value chain's emissions. ATOME's renewably generated fertiliser is both low-carbon and provides a secure, stable alternative product not reliant on fossil fuels, unlike all nitrogen fertiliser production today.

The Company has a green-focused Board which is supported by major shareholders including Peter Levine, Schroders, a leading fund manager, Baker Hughes, a global energy technology company operating in the energy and industry sectors and Casale S.A, the Swiss-based ammonia and fertiliser specialist engineering firm and technology licensor.
Virbac Headquarters, Carros, France

・H1 2026 delivered a robust revenue growth of +7.4% and an adjusted EBIT margin of 18.8% at CERS:

○ Revenue growth is coming from both segments : companion animal +10.0% and farm animal +6.7% with a strong contribution from our Supercharge platforms (excl. Thyronorm) which increased by around +12% at CERS
○ Solid volume/mix effect of ~+5.4%, completed by price increase of ~+2%
○ Operating margin increased by 0.5ppt compared to H1 2025 driven by a favorable mix effect on the gross margin partially offset by higher operating expenses due to H1/H2 phasing effects.
・Consolidated net income increased by +5.9% to €87.1 million
・Net Debt as of June 2026 up to €196 million compared to €173m as of December 2025 mainly driven by usual working capital requirement seasonality

2026 guidance confirmed at the upper end of the range: the strong performance achieved in the first half of the year positions us to target the upper end of our initial revenue growth range (5.5% to 7.5% at CERS) and an adjusted recurring operating income margin of around 17% at CERS

Paul Martingell, Chief Executive Officer statement

"Virbac delivered a strong first half, marked by +7.4% organic growth and an 18.8% operating margin, demonstrating our teams' ability to turn our commitment to animal health into tangible value. This performance reflects the scaling power of our 'Supercharge' platforms and the seamless integration of Thyronorm. Guided by our 'Growing Together' 2030 strategy, we are fully on track to achieve our full-year guidance."

New Automation and Integration Capabilities for Working Capital Portfolios

NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- GSCF, a leading global provider of working capital solutions, today announced significant enhancements to C4: Connected Capital Control Center, its integrated working capital servicing platform. The new capabilities – expanded data integration, an end-to-end dispute management module and automated credit limit management via direct insurer API connectivity – are designed to reduce manual effort, accelerate decision-making, and give corporates, banks and asset managers greater control across their working capital portfolios.

"These enhancements reflect client priorities for – less manual intervention, faster issue resolution and tighter integration across their programs. C4 is the operational layer that achieves these objectives at scale," said Doug Morgan, Chief Executive Officer of GSCF.

Seamless Data Integration

C4 now offers flexible integration paths that connect clients' existing systems directly to the platform to eliminate manual steps and enable straight-through processing across the working capital lifecycle. Clients can choose the integration approach that fits their current infrastructure, including APIs, with GSCF providing the expertise and managed services to implement it. The result is a program that operates with greater automation and less operational strain.

End-to-End Dispute Management

GSCF has introduced a purpose-built dispute management module within C4, bringing the full dispute lifecycle under one governed, transparent framework. Suppliers, buyers, funders and operations teams each gain the visibility and workflow tools needed to resolve disputes faster with increased accountability and without the friction of fragmented, manual processes.

Automated Credit Limit Management

For organizations operating insured working capital programs, C4 now automates the synchronization of buyer credit limit decisions with a leading global insurer in near-real time. A process that previously required days of manual replication across systems now happens automatically to reduce operational risk and accelerate the speed at which credit decisions can be executed.

"C4 was built to absorb program complexity so our clients don't have to. These three capabilities extend that principle to give clients seamless integration, structured dispute resolution and automated credit management reducing operational friction and risk," said Shannon Dolan, Chief Product Officer of GSCF.

ALCOR Scientific's iSED® analyzers reshape lab logistics and improve patient care for one of medicine's most widely used tests

・Seven times longer stability, independently validated. ESR samples on ALCOR Scientific's iSED analyzer remained accurate for up to 28 hours at room temperature and 48 hours refrigerated, outperforming the four-hour limit of traditional Westergren testing.
・A breakthrough for modern lab logistics. The extended sample stability delivers workflow and cost savings for clinical labs navigating scattered blood collection sites, longer courier routes and staffing shortages.
・Improved patient care. With more than a full day of room-temperature stability, delayed and after-hours samples can be tested with confidence, reducing rejections and blood redraws while improving results and the patient experience.

SMITHFIELD, R.I., Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- For a hundred years, one number has quietly governed erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), a test doctors rely on to diagnose and monitor infections, autoimmune conditions and other diseases: four. As in four hours, the narrow window in which a traditional ESR sample had to be tested or refrigerated before its result could no longer be trusted. A new peer-reviewed study published in Diagnostics says that deadline belongs to the past.

Diagnostics study

The study found that ESR samples measured by photometric rheology on ALCOR Scientific's iSED® analyzers remained accurate for up to 28 hours at room temperature and 48 hours refrigerated, seven times longer than the traditional Westergren method's four-hour room-temperature limit.

The impact is significant. One of the most widely used tests in medicine is no longer bound by a four-hour deadline. As clinical labs contend with scattered blood collection sites, longer courier routes and staffing shortages, the extended sample stability delivers immediate benefits to labs and the patients they serve.

The full study "Measuring Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Using Photometric Rheology Technology Demonstrates Superior Sample Stability as Compared to the Westergren Method," is available at https://www.mdpi.com/2075-4418/16/16/2648.

The problem hiding in the back of a courier van

ESR is one of the oldest tests in medicine, and one of the most widely ordered, with millions performed every year. It's a fast and affordable marker of inflammation that helps detect and monitor a range of conditions, from infections and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis to inflammatory conditions like giant cell arteritis, as well as certain cancers. Unlike tests that measure a specific molecule, ESR measures a behavior: how quickly red blood cells aggregate and settle in a tube, which makes it acutely vulnerable to time and temperature.

That vulnerability collides head-on with how modern labs operate. At the same time, labs are consolidating into centralized, high-volume centers, they're navigating growing blood collection sites and staffing shortages. Between the needle and the analyzer sits a courier network that batches specimens onto multi-stop routes, often carrying them for hours in vehicles with no meaningful temperature control. Meeting a strict four-hour clock across that chain is often impossible. Worse, the failure is invisible because a degraded sample doesn't arrive flagged. It arrives looking perfectly normal, and its result gets reported and acted on like any other.

Beyond gravity: a new way to measure inflammation

The iSED analyzer takes a fundamentally different approach to ESR testing. Using photometric rheology technology, it optically captures red blood cell aggregation, the earliest and most critical step of erythrocyte sedimentation, inside a temperature-controlled flow cell, generating a result in less than 20 seconds. Because it reads the very beginning of the aggregation process in a controlled environment, the iSED analyzer is largely insulated from the time-sensitive changes that undermine traditional readings, extending sample stability seven times longer than traditional testing.

From four hours to 28: a breakthrough for labs

Extending sample stability from four hours to 28 in ESR is a breakthrough for laboratory logistics, offering labs and the patients they serve immediate, tangible benefits, including:

・Reliable results: greater confidence in every result, especially when samples travel long distances or are delayed.
・Fewer rejected samples: specimens delayed in transit or received during minimal-staffing hours can still be tested with confidence.
・Fewer needle sticks for patients: sparing patients the burden of repeat phlebotomy for a common blood test.
・One tube, two tests: with longer stability, the same EDTA tube can realistically serve both ESR and CBC testing, and add-on ESR requests become feasible.
・Workflow and cost savings: a meaningful advantage as clinical laboratories navigate deepening workforce shortages.

"For decades, labs have been forced to build their entire ESR workflow around limited sample stability. Extending room temperature stability by an additional 24 hours is a game changer, not only improving logistics but truly improving patient care by ensuring reliable results. Giving labs a full day of reliable stability isn't a convenience. It's better medicine," said Jim Post, CEO, Alcor Scientific.

About the study

The study, "Measuring Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate Using Photometric Rheology Technology Demonstrates Superior Sample Stability as Compared to the Westergren Method," was published in Diagnostics (2026;16(16):2648) by Koshy, Lamazares, Evans, and Jortani. The research was conducted under Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval at two hospital sites and funded by ALCOR Scientific.
SHANGHAI, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- At HUAWEI CONNECT 2026, David Wang, Deputy Chairman of the Board and Rotating Chairman at Huawei, officially introduced OceanStor M900 Context Memory Storage during his keynote. Designed for AI inference in hyperscale data centers, the product provides SuperPoDs with a fully shared memory space that offers PB-scale capacity and TB/s-level performance. This marks a shift in AI infrastructure from a compute-centric model to deep collaboration among compute, network, and storage. This will help unleash the computing power of SuperPoDs.

2026 has seen the accelerated transition of AI from technological breakthroughs to large-scale implementation. AI applications have evolved from chatbots to agents capable of autonomously completing complex tasks. These agents are widely adopted in critical sectors, marking the beginning of the agentic AI era.

As large models grow to 10 trillion-scale parameters, SuperPoDs are becoming the optimal choice for AI infrastructure. Mainstream large models already support context windows exceeding one million tokens, multi-turn inference and complex tasks have become the norm, and KV cache data generated during inference continues to grow. These trends have pushed on-chip memory and DRAM beyond their limits in capacity and cost-effectiveness. It has become an industry consensus to build a multi-tier storage system that coordinates on-chip memory, DRAM, and SSDs to create a fully shared memory space with massive capacity.

Huawei introduced OceanStor M900 Context Memory Storage to overcome the memory capacity bottlenecks in ultra-long context and multi-turn inference. OceanStor M900 uses the UnifiedBus network to build PB-scale, global multi-tier KV cache with one-hop connections. This fully unleashes the computing power potential of SuperPoDs and accelerates AI inference in hyperscale data centers. OceanStor M900 Context Memory Storage has three key capabilities:

Breaking Capacity Boundaries to Empower Large-Scale AI with Massive Memory

Powered by the high-speed UnifiedBus interconnect network, the KV cache achieves global pooling and sharing with tiered storage. The KV cache of SuperPoDs is expanded from on-chip memory and DRAM to SSDs, enabling a single cluster to deliver 64 PB of capacity. The available KV cache capacity per NPU is upgraded from gigabytes to terabytes, allowing more context to be stored, shared, and reused. This significantly boosts the KV cache hit ratio.

Boosting Inference Performance to Fully Unleash Computing Power

OceanStor M900 is the industry's first architecture to integrate the CPU, network controller unit, and NAND controller unit. It provides native KV semantics to enable one-hop connection from the SuperPoD's NPU to SSDs. This eliminates the need for protocol conversion and CPU forwarding, slashing access latency from milliseconds to 60 microseconds, a 90% reduction. A single cluster delivers 40 TB/s of aggregate access bandwidth, 1.5 times higher than peer solutions. In typical AI programming scenarios, this architecture doubles the inference cluster's token throughput and halves the time to first token, converting computing power into productivity.

Lowering Token Costs to Enable Economical Large-Scale AI Adoption

OceanStor M900 uses the industry's first KV-aware adaptive storage technology, which predicts KV cache lifecycles based on data value and intelligently distributes data across storage media. This technology enables up to 24 drive writes per day (DWPD), extending SSD endurance by 16 times and ensuring stability for three years. By reducing media replacement and O&M costs, it lowers the long-term costs of large-scale AI inference infrastructure and enables faster AI adoption.

As AI expands into major production systems in all manner of industries, AI infrastructure is evolving from a compute-centric model toward tighter compute-network-storage collaboration. Context memory storage will be essential for continually enhancing the capacity and access efficiency of hyperscale inference KV caches.
The autonomous platforms are designed for logistics use cases, including repeatable point-to-point routes between hubs, warehouses, and distribution facilities, where autonomous vehicles can help operators add capacity and improve efficiency without depending solely on scarce driver availability.

Through this partnership, DXC Engineering will advance the industrialization and the scale-up of LOXO's technology, enabling customers to deploy autonomous logistics solutions, such as driverless light commercial vehicles moving goods between warehouses, more efficiently across enterprise environments. Many autonomous vehicles today still operate mainly in pilot environments, without being fully integrated into customers' logistics operations. A scalable solution requires more than the vehicle itself - it requires seamless integration with back-end systems, data services, fleet orchestration and operational workflows. The LOXO-DXC collaboration is designed to close this gap.

"We have spent years building the right technology, understanding the real needs of European logistics operators. As regulatory frameworks for autonomous driving take shape across Europe, commercial autonomous vehicle deployment is ready to move from pilots to scaled operations, and we are now ready to scale. DXC brings the engineering depth and enterprise delivery capabilities that complement our autonomous driving technology. Together, we have the opportunity to turn proven autonomy into scalable commercial operations," said Amin Amini, CEO and Co-Founder, LOXO.

Scaling autonomous logistics

With more than 50 million vehicles powered by DXC technology, DXC will help scale LOXO Digital Driver™ (LDD) across enterprise logistics environments. Vehicle-agnostic and built for defined logistics use cases, LDD reflects LOXO's understanding of European regulations, operator needs, and route-specific deployments. By combining LOXO's proven Level 4 autonomous driving platform with DXC Engineering's advisory, data, AI, systems integration, and delivery capabilities, the companies can help customers address driver shortages, cost pressures, urban access restrictions, and sustainability goals while integrating LDD with the back-end systems, data services, fleet orchestration, and workflows needed to run autonomous logistics reliably at scale.

"Autonomous driving technology is on the road today; the next challenge is scaling it across enterprise operations," said Karim Jeribi, Europe General Manager, Consulting & Engineering Services DXC Technology. "DXC brings the engineering, integration, and delivery expertise to industrialize autonomous technology and connect it to the systems that keep logistics moving. Together with LOXO, we can help customers move from autonomous vehicles to fully integrated autonomous logistics operations."

DXC and LOXO aim to create a repeatable deployment model for autonomous commercial vehicles, reducing complexity and accelerating adoption for logistics providers, fleet operators, and vehicle manufacturers. With LOXO's platform as the foundation and DXC enabling industrial-scale delivery, the companies will focus on turning autonomous driving technology into commercially viable, scalable logistics operations that can be deployed across defined routes, expanded to new customers, and scaled across European markets and beyond.

Progress is measured not only by what is achieved, but by the commitment to keep improving.

GENEVA, Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, L'OCCITANE Group is proud to announce further progress in its B Corp™ certification journey under B Lab™'s new Standards, with entities within the Group's certification perimeter achieving certification or recertification under the new Standards. This marks a significant milestone in the Group's ongoing work to strengthen its practices across governance, people and environmental topics.

L'OCCITANE Group achieves B Corp™ recertification under new standards

The accomplishment follows the Group's first certification in 2023 and recognises the progress made over the past three years. More importantly, it marks the next stage of a continuous improvement journey under a significantly more rigorous certification framework.

Across its portfolio, the Group continues to advance its B Corp™ journey. A number of entities within the Group have already achieved certification or recertification under the new Standards, with further brands progressing towards their respective certification milestones. These milestones will also be communicated by the individual brands. This reflects the Group's ongoing commitment to enhancing social and environmental performance across its businesses.

For L'OCCITANE Group, B Corp™ has never been simply about earning a badge of approval. Rather, it provides an independent framework that helps translate long-held values into measurable action, encouraging the Group to improve how it does business every day.

Raphaëlle Archambeaud-Sicot, Group Chief Sustainability Officer, said: "Responsible business is never static. The new framework encourages us to strengthen our governance, deepen our environmental and social impact and continue learning year after year. That spirit of continuous improvement remains at the heart of our approach."

The new B Lab Standards represent a significant evolution in the way B Corp™ certification is assessed. Under the new Standards, businesses are required to meet specified requirements across seven Impact Topics, subject to the applicable assessment and verification process. Independent third-party audits, periodic subsequent audits, and increasingly rigorous requirements reinforce that being a B Corp™ is an ongoing commitment rather than a one-off achievement.

The Group is proud to be among the first cohort of companies engaging in recertification under the new B Lab Standards, contributing valuable input to the development of the framework and helping to shape the future of responsible business at scale.
