Enleysha Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has opened "Hello Kitty's Happy Flight," a new amusement facility featuring Sanrio characters, along the connecting path on the third floor of New Chitose Airport's terminal building under license from Sanrio Co., Ltd. This is Japan's first (*) facility that simulates an around-the-world trip on a Kitty Jet navigated by Hello Kitty in cabin attendant uniform, who will take visitors to meet Sanrio characters around the world. Also opened are (1) a shop selling the facility's original products and popular Sanrio character merchandise, (2) a Sanrio character cafe with a menu featuring specialty drinks, sweets and other foods, and (3) a free space where young children can play freely.

(*) There are no other Sanrio character facilities in Japan with the same attraction.

Facility Overview:
Hello Kitty's Happy Flight
Hello Kitty in cabin attendant uniform serves as the navigator of a trip to meet Sanrio characters around the world. Visitors will start from a projection mapping theater and go on to Europe, the South Pole, America and Asia, saying hello to Sanrio characters in different countries along the way. They will also have opportunities to enjoy exciting attractions featuring those characters as well as displays of various images. The trip also offers many opportunities to take photos with Sanrio characters.

Happy Flight Shop
This shop sells original sweets and stationery unavailable elsewhere, and popular Sanrio character merchandise.

Happy Flight Cafe
The cafe's distinctive menu features original drinks, sweets and other foods.

Happy Flight Park
In this free space, young children accompanied by parents can enjoy themselves.

New Shop Opens at New Chitose Airport Terminal Building
New Chitose Airport's terminal building has greeted the third anniversary of its major renovation, becoming a large-scale entertainment complex putting together specialties from all corners of Hokkaido, including nationally known shops and treasured restaurants in secluded areas. The terminal has become a one-stop solution for enjoying the entire cuisine of Hokkaido.

In December 2014, New Chitose Airport made yet another addition, which has already become the talk of the town.

* SNOW MIKU SKYTOWN
- This is a shop-cum-museum featuring SNOW MIKU (Hatsune Miku), a character mascot for Hokkaido in the wintertime.

(1) Theater space (Hokkaido Gurutto Theater)
- With a 360-degree entire-perimeter video, the theater provides an experience to enjoy Hokkaido's great natural landscape.

- SNOW MIKU is extensively featured here, including a full-size figure only available at New Chitose Airport, illustrations and goods.
(3) Shop space
- A variety of goods are on sale here, including original items available only at relevant shops.
(4) Cafe space
- This space is located near the entrance to the facility. Customers can bring in collaborated menu items available at the adjacent "PRONTO" cafe.

"SNOW MIKU" is a character that enlivens wintery Hokkaido! SNOW MIKU was created in 2010, when the first snow sculpture of the popular Hokkaido-born virtual singer Hatsune Miku was made at the annual "Sapporo Snow Festival". Since 2012, the costume design for Snow Miku is chosen at an online competition everyone can participate in, and so each year Miku appears in a different wintery costume related to the annual theme. Hokkaido's winter is brightened up not only through the character Snow Miku, but through everyone's creativity and ideas!

Celebrating the third anniversary of its renewal, New Chitose Airport Terminal has opened new entertainment facilities to make it a more comfortable and enjoyable place to visit.

(1) Airport Kids Athletic

Replete with large-size play equipment, a long trampoline, climbing equipment and swing equipment, the facility is where small children can play and enjoy themselves safely.

Opening: July 25, 2014
Location: 4th floor, Domestic Terminal Building
Business hours: 10:00 - 18:00 (Final admission at 17:00)
Entrance qualifications: Children at age 1 or older and with heights of less than 120 cm.
Admission fee: 500 yen for the first 60 minutes and an additional 200 yen for every 30-minute extension
* Accompanying adults are free of charge.

(2) Magical Road

This is a trick art facility built around the animals and marine life of Hokkaido, offering amusing photo opportunities against the backdrops of the trick art. Children will be amazed to see animals coming out of the wall.
