The RubyWorld Conference Executive Committee has set the date for RWC 2016, this year's biggest business conference in Japan, as seen below.

In February 2013, the programming language "Ruby" marked 20 years since its development. Around the same time, Ruby 2.0 was released as a major version for the first time in five years. Ruby is used in a variety of different scenarios, as it enters a new era. This year will mark the 8th RubyWorld Conference. As Ruby spreads, we hope to have participants actually experience the Ruby ecosystem.

RubyWorld Conferece開催実行委員会では、プログラミング言語「Ruby」の国内最大のビジネスカンファレンス「RubyWorld Conference 2016」を下記の日程で開催いたします。

The RubyWorld Conference Executive Committee will hold this year's biggest business conference in Japan RWC 2015 on November 12-13.
In February 2013, the programming language "Ruby" marked 20 years since its development, coinciding with the release of Ruby 2.0.
Through this year's seventh RubyWorld Conference, Ruby will offer everyone the opportunity to consider ways of penetration as well as the permeation process and growth involved, as it aligns itself with the real world of diversity.

Program Now Open for "RubyWorld Conference 2013" Set for 11/21 (Thu.) -22 (Fri.)
The Executive Committee for the RubyWorld Conference has opened a program for the RubyWorld Conference 2013. At the Executive Committee's invitation of speakers from around the world for the RubyWorld Conference 2013, 20 groups of people responded to the request. We have chosen 11 after impartial consideration by the Program Investigation Committee.

An award-giving ceremony for the "Ruby Prize Award 2013," also known as the "Rookie of the Ruby," will be held during the RubyWorld Conference 2013 on November 21 (Thursday) by the Ruby Association, Nihon-Ruby-no-Kai and Matsue city. This ceremony is to commend those who contributed to the spread of the Ruby in the last couple of years and participated in activities that led to the Ruby's development.

RubyWorld Conference 2013 11/21(木)・22(金)開催！プログラム公開しました。
この度、RubyWorld Conference開催実行委員会は、今年11月21日(木)・22日(金)に島根県松江市で開催します「RubyWorld Conference 2013」のプログラムを9月27日(金)に公開いたしました。
発表者を一般公募しました結果、20件のご応募をいただき、プログラム検討委員会の厳正なる審査を経11件の方々に決定いたしました。
また、Ruby アソシエーション･日本Rubyの会･松江市が、この2、3年にRubyの普及、発展につながる活動や功績を有する個人を顕彰する、Rubyの新人賞とも言うべき「Ruby Prize 2013」の受賞式を21日(木)のRubyWorld Conference 2013 内にて開催いたします。

　RubyWorld Conferece開催実行委員会では、プログラミング言語「Ruby」の国内最大のビジネスカンファレンス「RubyWorld Conference 2013」を下記の日程で開催いたします。
　過去4回の開催では、国内外から毎年2日間で延べ1,000名の方々に参加頂いております。
　プログラミング言語「Ruby」は、2013年2月にはその開発から20年を迎え、また、5年ぶりのメジャーバージョンとしてRuby2.0がリリースされるなど、新たな時代に突入し、様々な場面での利用が拡がっています。かつて人々は、「日本から世界に適用するソフトウェアは登場しない」と信じていましたが、Rubyの成功は、これらの「過去の常識」がもはや思い込みでしかないということを明らかにしました。今年のRubyWorld Conferenceは、皆様にRubyの可能性を知ることを通して「新しい常識」、そして「未来」を構築する機会を提供します。

The Executive Committee for the RubyWorld Conference (RWC) announced on September 12 that it has set the dates for RWC 2013, this year's biggest business conference in Japan, as seen below.

The "Ruby" programming language is entering a new era as its use expands into various situations. February this year marked 20 years since its development, and Ruby 2.0 has been released as a major version for the first time in five years.

In the past, people used to believe that "there would never be software from Japan used around the world." But Ruby's success has clearly revealed that this "common sense of the past" was nothing but a bunch of assumptions.

By telling everyone about Ruby's possibilities, this year's RubyWorld Conference will provide an opportunity to create a "new common sense" as well as "the future."
