【ピスカタウェー（米ニュージャージー州）2012年6月12日】MIPI Allianceは12日、東芝がプロモーターメンバー（Promoter Member）として承認されたと発表した。東芝は2004年以来コントリビューターメンバー（Contributor Member）として積極的に貢献してきた。東芝はこれから、インテル（Intel）、ノキア（Nokia）、サムスン（Samsung）、STマイクロエレクトロニクス（STMicroelectronics）、テキサス・インスツルメンツ（Texas Instruments）のほかのボードメンバー（Board Member）と共に、モバイル機器のインターフェース・テクノロジーの将来の方向付けを進める。

MIPI Alliance today announced that Toshiba Corporation has been approved as a

Promoter Member. Toshiba has actively served as a Contributor member since

2004. Now the company will join other Board members Intel, Nokia, Samsung,

STMicroelectronics and Texas Instruments in driving the future direction of

mobile device interface technology.

Promoter members are elected by the Board for a two-year term and have a

preferential obligation to support MIPI Alliance. Limited to four at any given
