◎Tennent Caledonianが世界ビール品評会で金賞など7受賞

【グラスゴー（英スコットランド）2012年7月20日PRN=共同JBN】英スコットランドのビールメーカー、Tennent Caledonianはこのほど、世界のビール醸造という激しい競争分野で、20日までに発表されたベルギーの民間品評団体モンド・セレクション（Monde Selection）および国際ビールチャレンジ（International Beer Challenge）による最も厳しい2つの世界ビール品質チャレンジで7つの金賞、銀賞、銅賞を受賞したことを明らかにした。

今年初めまでに発売された3つの新ブランドは同日の選考結果が上首尾で、Tennent's Original Export（英国市場向け）およびTennent's Scotch Ale / Tennent's Extra （イタリア市場向け）で5つのメダルを獲得した。今回の成果は、400万英ポンドのボトリング生産ラインの設置とTennentのトレーニング・アカデミー（Tennent's Training Academy）の設立を含む最近数年のウェルパーク醸造所の拡張投資時期後のことである。

Tennent Caledonian Scoops Top International Brewing Medals

    In the highly competitive field of global beers, the Scottish based brewer,

Tennent Caledonian, has revealed a win of seven gold, silver and bronze medals

at two of the toughest global beer quality challenges: the Monde Selection in

Belgium and the International Beer Challenge, which was announced earlier today

(20 July 2012).

    Three new brands launched earlier this year fared well in today's results,

with five medals awarded for Tennent's Original Export (UK market), and

Tennent's Scotch Ale / Tennent's Extra (Italian market). This success follows a

period of extensive investment in Wellpark brewery over recent years, including

the installation of a GBP4m bottling line and the establishment of the

Tennent's Training Academy.

beers into global competition for the first time in a number of years is

reflective of a renewed confidence and ambition around the Tennent's brewery at
