◎DSIT社がアジアの防衛企業からソナー・シミュレーターを受注

【ギバットシュムエル（イスラエル）2012年8月22日PRN=共同JBN】Acorn Energy, Inc.（ナスダック：ACFN）の子会社DSIT Solutions Ltd.は22日、アジア有数の防衛企業から高性能ソナー・シミュレーター1基を受注したと発表した。契約金額は約70万ドル。

DSIT社は長期間にわたる入札、評価プロセスを経て、ソナー練習装置のサプライヤーとして選ばれ、受注につなげた。同練習装置は船底装備型ソナー・システムの操作を実際に即してシミュレートする。同高性能ソナー・システムは同社が世界の海軍に供給したシミュレーター、練習装置の中でも最新型になる。

    DSIT Solutions Ltd., a subsidiary of Acorn Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: ACFN),

announced today that it has received an order for an advanced Sonar Simulator

from a leading defense contractor in Asia. The value of the contract is

approximately $700K.

    This order follows a lengthy bidding and evaluation process in which DSIT

was selected as the supplier for the sonar trainer. The trainer will

realistically simulate the operation of a hull mounted sonar system. This

advanced sonar simulator is the latest in the Company's list of simulators and

trainers supplied to navies around the world.
