【ビレリカ（米マサチューセッツ州）2012年9月4日】Aushon BioSystemsは4日、マルティン・フェルフーフ（Martin Verhoef）氏が最高経営責任者（CEO）に任命されたと発表した。同氏は同社役員会メンバーにも任命された。創立者である前CEOのペーター・ホンカネン氏は最高執行責任者（COO）に就任するが、役員会長のポストにはとどまる。

フェルフーフ氏は生命科学研究ツールと分子診断薬ビジネスで約25年の経験を持っている。Aushon入社前は分子診断薬会社のMiraDxおよびPrimeraDxのCEOだった。またCiphergenの経営チームのメンバーとしてバイオシステムズ・ディビジョンを指揮した。フェルフーフ氏はドイツと米国のAgilentでさまざまな上級管理職ポストを歴任した。オランダ・ロッテルダムのファントホッフ大学から医療化学と化学の理学士号を得ている。

Aushon BioSystems Appoints Martin Verhoef Chief Executive Officer

     Aushon BioSystems today announced that Martin Verhoef has been appointed

Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Verhoef has also been appointed to the Company's

Board of Directors. Peter Honkanen, Founder and former Chief Executive Officer,

will assume the Chief Operating Officer role and continue as a Board Director.

     Mr. Verhoef has a career of over 25 years experience in the life science

research tools and molecular diagnostics business.  Prior to joining Aushon,

Mr. Verhoef was Chief Executive Officer at the molecular diagnostic firms

MiraDx and PrimeraDx. He was also a member of Ciphergen's executive team where

he led the company's BioSystems Division. Mr. Verhoef has also held various

senior management roles at Agilent in Germany and the US.  He holds BS degrees

in Medical Chemistry and Chemistry from the van 't Hoff Institute in Rotterdam,

The Netherlands.
