◎SunPower、東芝とのソーラーパネル供給契約を延長

【サンノゼ（米カリフォルニア州）2012年9月18日PRN=共同JBN】SunPower Corp.（ナスダック：SPWR）は18日、東芝との長期的な提携関係を今後数年にわたり延長すると発表した。基本供給契約によれば、東芝は急成長する日本の住宅用太陽光パネル市場に対応するため、100メガワット以上に相当するSunPowerの高効率ソーラーパネルを発注する。SunPowerは2010年に東芝と提携関係を結んで以来、約70メガワット相当の高性能ソーラーパネルを納入している。

東芝執行役常務の横田岳志氏は、次のように述べている。「東芝は日本の住宅市場における高効率ソーラーシステムの大手プロバイダーであり、今回の合意によって日本で高信頼性を誇る太陽光発電システムを提供し続けることになる。SunPowerは世界のソーラー技術のリーダーであり、この理由から、当社は提携関係を今後数年にわたり延長することを決めた。」

SunPower Extends Long-Standing Partnership with Toshiba

                    Company Signs Multi-Megawatt Supply Agreement

    SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWR) today announced that the company has extended

its long-standing partnership with Toshiba for the next several years. Under

the terms of the master supply agreement, Toshiba will place orders of more

than 100-megawatts (MW) for SunPower's high efficiency solar panels to support

the rapidly growing residential solar market in Japan. Since SunPower first

partnered with Toshiba in 2010, it has delivered approximately 70 MW of its

high-performance solar panels.
