【クパチーノ（米カリフォルニア州）2012年10月16日PRN＝共同JBN】モバイル・オペレーター・サービス・ソリューションのグローバルリーダーであるRoamware, Inc.は、ウルグアイのモバイル付加価値サービス・ソリューションの大手プロバイダーであるIPcom S.A.を買収したと発表した。IPcomは中南米地域の18カ国にモバイル・オペレーターの顧客を擁し、同地域で強力な営業展開をしている。IPcomの製品ポートフォリオには、通信プロバイダー向けアウトソーシング・システム（BSS/OSS）、ローミング、メッセージング、位置情報ソリューション、ビッグデータ解析、モバイル金融、仮想移動体通信事業社（MVNO）ソリューションなどが含まれる。今回の買収によって、Roamwareは中南米市域での市場リーダーとしての地位を強化するとともに、同社製品ポートフォリオに新しいソリューションを追加する。
