-　これまでオプション提供だったレイヤ2機器の検出とマッピング機能をWhatsUp Gold製品本体に統合しました。これにより、追加コスト無しに有線機器と無線機器の間の接続性を可視化し、マップから迅速に稼働状況を確認できるようになりました。また、監視に関するルールと関連性を自動で設定できるため、迅速な問題解決が可能となります。

-　資産およびインベントリレポート機能を搭載しました。ネットワークおよびソフトウェア資産、またそれらに付随する保証情報を自動的に検出、監視、レポートします。

さらに、WhatsUp Gold v16は、拡張性に優れた分散ポーリングアーキテクチャを採用することで、監視対象のIP機器が最大2万台、モニター数が10万台以上の大規模なネットワークまで幅広くサポートできるようになりました。また、急速に普及するスマートフォンやタブレット機器、ネットワークカメラやプリンターなどIPアドレスを持つ機器を監視対象に加えることもできるようになります。
