【シャフハウゼン（スイス）2012年10月22日PRN＝共同JBN】欧州の新興テクノロジー企業発展にコミットする独立系の非営利団体であるEuropean Tech Tour Association（欧州テクノロジーツアー協会）は22日、2012年の Excellence in Medtech Awardの授賞にOcclutech社を選んだと発表した。

同賞はスイスのローザンヌで開かれた2012年European MedTech Summitの祝宴会場で、投資会社Salus Partnersのマネジングパートナーであるブライアン・ハシェミ博士から発表、贈呈された。同博士は「Occlutechは侵襲性の低い冠動脈閉塞（へいそく）の分野で革新的テクノロジーを開発した優れた業績を示した。卵円孔開存（PFO）などへの革新的機器は、急速に進歩するこの分野の治療法を向上させ、世界の多数の患者に大きな健康上の恩恵をもたらした」と語った。
