◎仏Sagemcomが独Froschlを買収　　エネルギー分野を強化

【パリ2012年10月29日PRN＝共同JBN】通信機能付きメーターの欧州大手企業であるSagemcomはこのほど、10月25日にドイツのメータリング・データ・マネジメント・ソフトウエア大手のFroschl Groupを買収したと発表した。

この買収によって、子会社のSagemcom Energy & Telecomを通じてエネルギー管理を主要3事業の一つとするSagemcomグループは、事業範囲を広げスマート・メータリング・ソリューションの分野で世界の主要企業の一つになるという目的を確実にすることになる。

Froschlの持つメータリング・データ処理ソフトウエアの専門知識を手に入れたことによって、Sagemcomの現在のポートフォリオを理想的な形で完結させ、新規顧客獲得を通じてグループの成長を加速することになる。通信機能付きメーターから収集データの処理に至るまでのバリューチェーン全体をカバーすることにより、Sagemcomはエネルギー運営事業者の将来の要求にも対応できるサービス提供の能力を持つ最高の関係企業の一つになった。

     Sagemcom, European Leader for Communicating Meters, has Announced its

Acquisition of The Froschl Group, German Leader in Metering Data Management

Software, Thursday 25 October.

     Thanks to this acquisition, the Sagemcom group, for which energy

Energy & Telecom, has enriched its range and confirmed its aim to become one of

the world key players in smart metering solutions.

     The addition of Froschl's expertise in metering data processing software

ideally completes the current portfolio of Sagemcom and should boost group

growth via the acquisition of new customers. By covering the entire value

chain, from communicating meters to the processing of the data collected,

future requirements of energy operators.
