【ロスアルトス（米カリフォルニア州）2012年11月1日PRN＝共同JBN】リアルタイムのトレーサビリティー、情報管理ソフトウエア大手であるFrequentzはこのほど、IBMとの間でIBMのInfoSphere Traceability Server（ITS）ソフトウエアの資産とエキスパート・リソースを買収することで合意した。この契約は2012年9月30日に締結された。契約の金銭面の条件は明らかにされていない。

Frequentzのマイケル・ルーカス最高経営責任者（CEO）は「IBMとの取引成立を喜んでおり、連続したイベント・ライフ・ヒストリーに立脚したビジネス分析を推進するチャンスと考えている。IBMのInfoSphere Traceability Serverの資産とエキスパート・リソースを獲得し、FrequentzのTraceability Serverを結合することによって、顧客はトレーサビリティー、アセットマネジメント、データ分析の分野で高度な先進的能力を得ることになる」と語った。

ePedigreeとReturnable Container Management（RCM）機能を備えたITSは、FrequentzのData Traceability Serverに統合される。Frequentzはさらにこれらの機能を強化し、追加アプリケーションを開発して複数の垂直市場に連続データ分析を拡大する予定。

Frequentz Acquires IBM InfoSphere Traceability Server

    Frequentz to Accelerate Event-Driven, Serialized Big Data Intelligence

Frequentz, a leader in real-time traceability and information management

software, has entered into an agreement with IBM Corporation to acquire the

assets and expert resources of IBM's InfoSphere Traceability Server (ITS)

Software. The transaction closed on September 30, 2012. Financial terms were

not disclosed.
