IP管理とソフトウエアの世界大手スペシャリストであるCPA Globalは21日、IP産業向けに特化した電子文書管理システムのデベロッパーで米シリコンバレーに本社を置くFirst To Fileを買収したと発表した。

買収によってCPA Globalは実績のある、IP専用電子文書管理システム（DMS）をクライアントに提供することが可能になる。このシステムは、独立したサービスもしくは市場をリードしているCPA GlobalのIP管理ソフトウエア・ソリューションにより深く統合されたものとして提供される。CPA GlobalとFirst To Fileはすでに、両社製品の統合ソリューションを使用している顧客をかかえており、今回の買収によって両社製品の統合は一段と加速されることになる。First To Fileはまた、他ベンダーによるIP管理・文書システムのサポートも積極的に行う予定である。
