▽Global Fresh Foods(グローバル・フレッシュ・フーズ)について

Global Fresh Foods Ships Salmon from Chile to Japan by Sea to Open the Non-Frozen Trade Route
PR53553
SAN FRANCISCO, June 27, 2013 /PRN=KYODO JBN/ --
- First Commercial Shipment to Japan using GFF's Patented Technology to be Sold
at Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo
Global Fresh Foods [http://www.globalfreshfoods.com/ ] (GFF), the company that
naturally extends the shelf life of fresh proteins, today announced that it has
sent its first commercial sea shipment bound for Tokyo, Japan from Talcahuano,
Chile using the company's innovative fuel-cell based oxygen management system.
The shipment of salmon from Chile will spend up to 33 days at sea before being
sold at the world's largest seafood market.
Without using ice, environmentally harmful polystyrene packaging, or costly and
environmentally damaging air freight, GFF's technology completely removes
oxygen from the shipment so the fish will arrive in the destination market with
the same fresh quality as the day it came from the sea. The shipment will be
sold at the largest wholesale fish and seafood market in the world, Tsukiji
Fish Market in Tokyo, and distributed through a variety of retail and
foodservice seafood distributors in Japan.
Mark Barnekow, chief executive officer of Global Fresh Foods said, "We have
been working with our partners in Japan to completely transform what is now a
largely frozen trade route for Chilean salmon into a market for fresh fish."
