【マカオ2013年11月22日PRN＝共同JBN】グローバルに展開する総合リゾートデベロッパー、ラスベガス・サンズ（Las Vegas Sands 、NYSE: LVS）とBeckham Venturesは22日、世界でも最も偶像的なスターの１人であるデービッド・ベッカム氏が、マカオとシンガポールにおけるラスベガス・サンズのパワフルな総合リゾート資産開発で提携することになった、と発表した。

同日マカオで開かれた記者会見で発表された概要によると、今回の提携はアジアで最もダイナミックなビジネスと、肩を並べるものがいないグローバルな人気を誇るスターとを結びつけるもので、サンズ・チャイナが所有するマカオとシンガポールのマリーナベイ・サンズをベースにダイニング、小売り、レジャーコンセプトの開発を進める。

ラスベガス・サンズのマイケル・リーベン社長兼最高執行責任者（COO）は「われわれは自分たち自身のグローバルな偶像ブランドに数10億ドルを投資してきた。そのブランドを成長させ持続させることが大事であることを明白に理解している。デービッド・ベッカム氏との提携が成功し、われわれの努力の助けになる確率は極めて高く、ベッカム氏にとっても同じ利益がもたらされる。われわれはこの提携関係に胸をはずませており、今後数年間に成長すること、特に攻撃的に機会を開拓し、われわれのアジアにおけるプレゼンスをいっそう拡大することを確信している」と述べた。

Ventures today announced a partnership which will see one of the world's most

iconic men, David Beckham, join forces with LVS's powerful integrated resort
