LONDON, Dec. 5, 2013 /PRN=KYODO JBN/ --
EF Englishtown [http://www.englishtown.com/online/home.aspx ], the world's
leading online English school, is announcing a new partnership: the company
will sponsor the Brazilian men's and women's national teams and has been
awarded the status of the official English school of the CBF (Brazilian
Football Confederation). The men's national team includes global stars like
Neymar (FC Barcelona), Robinho (A.C. Milan) and Daniel Alves (FC Barcelona).
The agreement will last until December, 2018, and the sponsorship covers
all the sporting events the Brazilian football teams are participating in,
including the 2014 World Cup that will take place in Brazil, the 2016 Olympics
in Rio, and the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and 2018 World Cup, hosted by
Russia.
"We know that this is a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship
with the Brazilians, who love soccer and know the importance of quality
learning and teaching" says EF Englishtown's Country Manager, Andre Marques.
Mr. Marques also says that this partnership is an important strategy for
the school. "We are a global company that has a history of sponsoring and
providing training services for great sporting events worldwide. This
reinforces our image as the largest online English school."
As an official sponsor, EF Englishtown will be able to enjoy the publicity
in field board panels, interview backdrops and promotional actions. They will
also have the right to use the athletes' images in marketing campaigns and ads.
The school will be responsible for translation and interpreting services for
CBF during staging of the 2014 World Cup.
CBF president Jose Maria Marin says he is happy to see that the Brazilian
national team is sponsored by companies like EF Englishtown.
"This shows that these companies trust our serious, credible work here at
CBF, they trust the way we take care of the national teams as well as the
soccer in the country."
