このソングコレクションは、ロバート・J・シャーマン作のBumblescratch（バンブルスクラッチ）、Love Birds（ラブバード）、A Spoonful of Sherman（スプーン1杯のシャーマン）、さらに近日公開されるThe Magic FluteとThe Penguin Pirateのミュージカル5本から選曲された。「The Robbie Sherman Songbook」には、今日の若者を定義するあらゆる複雑さと次元を持つ若いキャラクター向けに特に書かれた曲が含まれている。
