Street Fighter 6 Joins HERO ESPORTS Asian Champions League: Two Spots Available for Esports World Cup
SHANGHAI, March 19, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The HERO ESPORTS Asian Champions League (ACL), Asia's premier multi-title esports tournament hosted by Hero Esports, has announced the addition of Street Fighter 6 to its inaugural lineup. Notably, the ACL Street Fighter 6 will feature two spots for Esports World Cup.
Scheduled for May 17 and 18, the tournament boasts a total prize pool of $30,000. Registration is open to all, with no entry requirements. Apart from the ACL Street Fighter 6 tournament, the ACL CS2 tournament and the ACL Dota2 tournament also feature open qualifiers, which makes ACL a true celebration for all esports enthusiasts.
In partnership with DreamHack, the ACL will host the Street Fighter 6 tournament as an offline festival, allowing players to compete face-to-face.
Both the champion and runner-up of the ACL Street Fighter 6 tournament will secure direct entry into the Esports World Cup, heightening the excitement surrounding the event.
As a top international event for Street Fighter 6 in Asia, the tournament aims at fostering player interactions across the region and enhancing the game's influence both in Asia and globally.
