【ブルーベル（米ペンシルベニア州）2013年3月13日PRN＝共同JBN】Selas Fluid Processing Corporationは13日、同社役員会が社名をLinde Engineering North America Inc.に変更し即日実施する議案を承認したと発表した。同社は空気分離、合成ガスのプラントと、精製、石油化学、化学、ガス、製薬産業用のtechonolgy furnacesとfired process equipmentのエンジニアリング、供給、建設を行っている。

Selas Fluid Processing Corporationはドイツ・ミュンヘンのLinde AGが1983年に買収し、LindeのEngineering Divisionの子会社になった。Engineering Divisionは、世界のプラント・エンジニアリングと建設の大手技術パートナーである。2009年、Linde EngineeringのNAFT加盟地域における空気分離、水素、合成ガス・プラント製品ラインは、Selas Fluid Processing Corporationに移管された。同年Selas Fluid Processing Corporationは米国西部とカナダの同社顧客へのサービスを強化するため、Revamp Service Groupを米テキサス州ヒューストンに移設した。

Linde Engineering North Americaのブルース・ヘンシンジャー社長兼最高経営責任者（CEO）は「社名変更によって、世界的技術、エンジニアリング、調達、建設企業としてのわれわれのステータスが一層反映される。今回の変更によって、当社が世界大手のガス、エンジニアリング企業のメンバーとして所有しているリソースが顧客の目にはっきり映ることになる」と語った。

同社のtechonolgy furnacesとfired process equipmentはSelas（登録商標）の商標で販売が継続される。

水理化学部門は同社の1部門として存続し、名称変更の対象にならない。水理化学部門は、0.1から15MM SCFD（スタンダード立法毎日、100から1万7000NCMH）容積の水素、合成ガス・プラント設計に特化している。同部門のモジュラー・プラントは規格化され、業界条件を満たしている。

オクラホマ州タルサにオフィス、同州ポートオブカトゥーサに製造工場があるLinde Process Plants Inc.は引き続き、天然ガス、精製、石油化学、ヘリウム・水素液化の産業にサービスを提供しているLinde Groupのメンバーとして運営される。

Selas Fluid Processing Corporation announced today that the company's Executive

Board has approved a name change to Linde Engineering North America Inc.,

effective immediately. The company engineers, supplies and constructs air

separation and synthesis gas plants as well as technology furnaces and fired

process equipment for the refining, petrochemical, chemical, gas, and

pharmaceutical industries.

Acquired in 1983 by Linde AG of Munich, Germany, Selas Fluid Processing

Corporation became a subsidiary of Linde's Engineering Division, a leading

technology partner for plant engineering and construction worldwide. In 2009,

Linde Engineering's air separation, hydrogen, and synthesis gas plant product

lines serving the NAFTA region were transferred to Selas Fluid Processing

Corporation. That same year, Selas Fluid Processing Corporation relocated its

Revamp Services Group to Houston, Texas, to better serve the company's client

base in the western U.S. and Canada.

"The name change better reflects our status as a global technology,

engineering, procurement, and construction firm," said Bruce Hensinger,

President and CEO of Linde Engineering North America. "With this action, the

resources we possess as a member of a world-leading gases and engineering

company become more apparent to our customers."

The company's technology furnaces and fired process equipment will continue to

be marketed under the Selas(R) trademark.

Hydro-Chem will continue as a division of the company, and the unit will not be

subject to a name change. Hydro-Chem specializes in hydrogen and synthesis gas

plant designs ranging from 0.1 to 15 MM SCFD (100 to 17,000 NCMH) capacities.

Its modular plants are standardized to meet industry requirements.

Linde Process Plants Inc., with offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and fabrication

facilities at the Port of Catoosa, Oklahoma, will continue to operate

separately as a member of The Linde Group serving the natural gas, refining,

petrochemical, and helium and hydrogen liquefier industries.
