【ワルシャワ（ポーランド）2013年4月16日PRN=共同JBN】ワルシャワ証券取引所（WSE） は、4月15日から新しい取引システムであるユニバーサル・トレーディング・プラットフォーム（UTP）を導入し運用を開始した。UTPは世界的クラスの技術水準を誇るもので、この導入によってWSEは世界で最も進んだ証券取引所の一つとなる。また新技術導入によってWSEは、新しい取引商品、新投資技術、新トレーディング機能などへの対応が可能となるほか、中部東部欧州最大の証券取引所であるWSEは今後も域内トップの地位をさらに強化することになる。

UTPは世界的基準に準拠したもので、増大する市場参加者の求めに応じると同時に、世界的トレンドに沿った取引構成を可能にするものである。このプラットフォームはNYSE Technologiesが開発し、世界最大級の複数の市場における国際的投資家、ブローカーにはなじみがある。同じプラットフォームはNYSE Euronext（ニューヨーク）、ロンドン、パリ、リスボン、アムステルダム、ブリュッセルその他の株式市場で利用されている。

UTPは処理が非常に高速で、旧システムに比べ卓越した単位時間内情報処理量や、拡張性、能力を誇る。実際の処理量としては、１秒間に2万の売買注文を処理できるほか、注文から結果が返送されるまでの遅延時間を示すレイテンシーもマイクロ秒の単位に縮小された。UTPを導入したことでポーランドの資本市場は、アルゴリズム取引を行っている世界の大規模な投資企業など、新しい種類の投資家にも門戸が開かれることになる。またこれは成長機会を与えることでもあり、WSEの会員社にとっては革新的ソリューションを実行することによって収入増を図る機会が得られることになる。UTPへの移行に伴いWSEの取引時間も更新される。

      trading system - the  Universal Trading Platform (UTP) which represents

    UTP is much faster and offers superior throughput, scalability and capacity

than preceding system. In practice, it can handle 20 thousand orders per second

and latency (response time to submitted orders) will be cut to microseconds.
