【ロンドン2013年10月10日PRN＝共同JBN】デイリーメール・ジェネラルトラスト（Daily Mail General Trust PLC）のビジネス・イベント子会社であるDMG Events Ltdは10日、完成したGastech 2014国際会議プログラムを公表した。このプログラムでは有数の国際的スピーカー多数を迎え、画期的な新プロジェクトが紹介される。

Korea Gas Corporation（KOGAS、韓国ガス公社）が主催し2014年3月に韓国で開催されるGastech 2014国際会議・展示会は、世界トップクラスのガス・液化天然ガス（LNG）の催しのひとつで、発足42年目を迎える。

2014年国際会議プログラムは、Gastechの国際的な運営委員会で選定された。同委員会は、世界のガス業界から出された500件以上の提案から最も有力な70件の商取引、技術に関する提案を選ぶという難しい仕事に取り組んだ。Gastech Koreaが寄せた関心の度合いは、何ヶ月もかけてすべての提案に賛成投票をしたことに現れているが、今や業界が熱心に待ち望んだ2014年の業界向けプログラムがまとまった。

基調講演者には以下の人たちが含まれている。Woodsideの最高経営責任者（CEO）ピーター・コールマン（Peter Coleman）氏、Chevron Gas & Midstream社長ジョセフ・ギアギア（Joseph Geagea）氏、東京ガスの村木茂代表取締役副社長、BG Group最高執行責任者（COO）マーチン・ヒューストン（Martin Houston）氏、シェルUpstream常務取締役アンディー・ブラウン（Andy Brown）氏、そしてこのほど主催国代表に選出されたKOGASのチャン・ソク・ヒョ（Jang Seok-Hyo）CEO。

Gastech Koreaの国際会議ディレクターを務めるギャビン・サトクリフ氏は以下のように語っている。

「アジアにおけるガスとLNGの新資源に対する需要はますます緊急を要するようになっており、これはGastech Korea用にまとめられた優れた国際会議プログラムに反映されている。今回のイベントでは、ガス・LNGの需要成長をその中心課題とすることによって、世界のLNG主要消費者のひとつであり今回の主催者であるKOGASが例を示しているように、グローバルなサプライチェーンをアジア太平洋地域における主要消費者に結びつけることが可能になる。国際会議プログラムは、この地域の経済成長促進を支援するプロジェクト計画と抱負を慎重に反映しており、2014年のプログラムはアジアのガス消費者の目標達成を支援できるよう、彼らの関心をしっかり反映したものになっていると考えている」

Gastech国際会議プログラムの強みは、商取引業界と技術業界を結合する有効性に基づいており、来年のプログラムはこれまでより一層魅力的なものになっている。  

Gastech国際会議・展示会は韓国ソウル市のKINTEX 1で2014年3月24日から27日まで開催される。

Major International Gas Event Announces Korea 2014 Conference Programme

    DMG Events Ltd, the business events division of the Daily Mail General

Trust PLC, today revealed the completed Gastech 2014 conference programme,

which welcomes a wealth of leading international speakers and ground-breaking

new project presentations.

    Taking place in March 2014 in Seoul, Korea, and hosted by Korea Gas

Corporation (KOGAS), the Gastech Conference & Exhibition enters its 42nd year

as one of the world's premier gas and LNG events.

    The 2014 conference programme has been selected by Gastech's international

governing body, which faced the challenging task of sourcing the strongest 70

commercial and technical papers from more than 500 submissions made by the

international gas community. Such was the level of interest in Gastech Korea

that voting on all the papers took many months, but has now resulted in the

most keenly anticipated industry programme in 2014.

    Key speakers include the Chief Executive of Woodside, Peter Coleman, the

President of Chevron Gas & Midstream, Joseph Geagea, the Executive Vice

President of Tokyo Gas, Shigeru Muraki, the Chief Operating Officer of BG

Group, Martin Houston, Shell's Executive Director of Upstream, Andy Brown, plus

the recently-appointed President of our hosts - KOGAS - Seok-Hyo Jang.

    Gavin Sutcliffe, Gastech Korea's conference director, remarks:
