UnisysがNULグループとの契約を2年更新

【東京2014年9月18日AAPメディアネット・インターナショナル＝共同通信JBN】Unisys Corporation（NYSE：UIS、ユニシス）は18日、日本ユニシス（NUL）グループとの契約を更新、同社の日本顧客向けにハイエンドサーバーを含むUnisys製品のITサードレベル・サポートサービスを継続することになったと発表した。

2年間の更新は約3000万ドルに相当する。

NULグループは東京証券取引所に上場され、Unisys製品を日本で独占販売している。

今回の契約更新により、UnisysはNULグループに対し、Unisys ClearPathおよびES7000サーバー、その他製品の技術サポートを継続する。

NULの深沢拓プラットフォームプラニング・企業マーケティング部長は「UnisysがわれわれのITをサポートしてくれることになり、NULの顧客は高い技術力があり中枢システム稼働でNULを支えるUnisysエンジニアリング開発チームの専門知識の恩恵を受ける」と語った。

Unisysアジア太平洋・日本のジェフ・ディクソン技術製品担当副社長は「NULとの長期的で価値のある関係を維持できてうれしい」と話した。

NUL Group Extends IT Support Services Contract with Unisys

   TOKYO, JAPAN, 18 September August, 2014 - Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS)

today announced that it has been awarded an extension by NUL Group to continue

providing IT third level support services for Unisys products, including

high-end servers, to NUL for their customers in Japan.

   The two-year extension is valued at approximately US$30 million.  

   NUL Group is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and is the exclusive

distributor of Unisys products in Japan.  

   Under the latest extension Unisys Corporation will continue to provide

engineering support for Unisys ClearPath and ES7000 servers and other products

to the NUL Group.

the benefit of the expertise of the highly skilled Unisys engineering and

development teams to support NUL in keeping their mission critical systems up
