The Government of Japan and the Japan Night Organization Committee, comprised of leading companies and entities in Japan, will jointly host JAPAN NIGHT on Jan. 22, 2015 at Central Sporthotel, Davos during the 2015 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. JAPAN NIGHT, hosted by the nation's public and private sectors, is aimed at deepening international political and business exchanges between Japan and the world, reaffirming Japan's positive global contribution and conveying Japan's hopes to our partners firsthand.

It will also be an opportunity for leaders and dignitaries from around the world to savor Washoku (Japanese cuisine) and sake (Japanese alcohol), and to experience traditional culture such as the ceremonies of Kagamibiraki (Sake barrel breaking) and Mochitsuki (rice cake pounding), as part of a fun-filled introduction to the Japanese sense of tradition.
