The ASEAN-Japan Centre announced on August 18 the winners of the ASEAN Character Award 2016. This year, three out of 36 self- or recommended nominees were chosen by a group of professional jurors.

The winners will be given opportunities to exhibit their character products at the Tokyo Game Show 2016 on September 15-16, 2016, at Makuhari Messe in Japan. In addition, each winner will have an opportunity of making presentations on their works during the ASEAN Networking Seminar on September 17 at the meeting room 303 of International Conference Hall (3F) at Makuhari Messe.
