The 3x3 basketball scene has seen promising growth over the past few years. This exciting game has three players per team and utilizes a half-court playing space. Until recently, Size 6 game balls were used in all competitions. Now, Molten has developed a 3x3 game ball to meet new regulations set by FIBA (International Basketball Federation) in 2015.

The Molten Libertria 5000 3x3 Basketball features remarkable grip and superior durability; with its wear-resistant covering, the Libertria 5000 3x3 is able to withstand the wear and tear of intense play on harsh outdoor courts without sacrificing grip and maneuverability. The 12-panel design is based on the Molten GL7X Basketball, the official indoor game ball of FIBA. The color scheme satisfies new FIBA regulations, and the yellow/blue colors ensure that the ball is highly visible in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The Molten Libertria 5000 3x3 will be the exclusive game ball of the 3x3 FISU World University League Final, and will also be used as the official 3x3 game ball of the numerous national federations where Molten has ball agreements throughout the world. FIBA 3x3 standards

The new FIBA 3x3 standards require a different color scheme, size, and weight from indoor basketball. The maneuverability of a size 6 basketball has been combined with the weight of a size 7 basketball; the integration of the smaller size and increased weight allows for dynamic play and reduced wind interference when playing outdoors. To increase visibility, the ball features yellow and blue panels with orange seams.
