HealthCare IT 2017 (the second edition) will be held at Tokyo Big Sight from 19 to 21 April 2017 once again as a part of "Japan Life Science Week 2017".

The first edition of HealthCare IT in 2016 received very encouraging comments from both exhibitors and visitors. The show invited 14,000 industry professionals from Japan's healthcare industry such us pharmaceuticals, medical devices, hospitals, and pharmacies.

In recent years Japan's healthcare business has been facing various issues such as high aging rate, increase of national health expenditure, decrease in population in next ten years. In such a situation, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers are required to be competitive to others in teams of data management in different processes from new drug development to sales and marketing. Hospitals and pharmacies are also required to build the effective and efficient data management system to response to patients and customer's needs rapidly.
