【ニューヨーク2013年1月30日PRN=共同JBN】中国のナショナルフラッグ・キャリアー、中国国際航空（エアチャイナ）は3月31日から、ニューヨークから中国およびアジアに向かう旅行客への特別のもてなしとして機体を最新鋭のボーイング777-300ERにアップグレードし、同時にニューヨーク－北京ノンストップ便を週7便から11便に増便する。

中国国際航空ニューヨークのゼネラルマネジャー、ユエロン・ジョウ氏は「ニューヨーク－北京間で利用しやすいノンストップ便を増やしてほしいという乗客の声が一貫して増えているため、それに応えて増便することになった」と述べた。

ニューヨークと北京の間でノンストップ便を運航している航空会社は中国国際航空だけである。今回増便されるアウトバウンド便のCA 990はジョン・F・ケネディ国際空港を毎週月、水、金、日曜に午前2時50分に出発し、北京首都国際空港に現地時間翌日午後2時20分に到着する。インバウンド便のCA 989は北京を午前9時に出発し、ニューヨークには現地時間で同日午前10時20分に到着する。

B777-300ERは世界最大の長距離、双発ジェット旅客機で、クリーンで環境により優しい航空機である。また、双発エンジンによって効率性、信頼性を向上させ、燃費性能の向上を実現している。

中国国際航空のファーストクラス「紫禁パビリオン」は豪華な8スイート、ビジネスクラス「キャピタル・パビリオン」は41席のフルフラットベッド、259席のエコノミークラスには個人用ディスプレー、各シートに装備されたオンデマンドのオーディオ・ビデオ（AVOD）が用意されている。

中国国際航空B777-300ERの機体内部は最大限の快適さを求めて設計されており、紫禁、キャピタルの両パビリオンはフライトのいろいろな状態に合わせて10種に変化するムード・ライトを採用している。

Air China's Beijing-New York Service Gets Major Boost with Upgrade to Boeing 777-300ER and Expanded Frequency

and expanded capacity-

A special treat awaits China and Asia-bound travelers from New York on March

31, 2013 when Air China, China's exclusive national flag carrier, upgrades to

the state of the art Boeing 777-300ER and increases its frequency from 7 to 11

per week for nonstop New York-Beijing flights.

"Adding new flights is a response to a consistently growing passenger demand

for more convenient nonstop services between New York and Beijing," Mr. Yuelong

Zhou, Air China's General Manager in New York, said.  

Air China is the only airline with nonstop service between New York and

Beijing.  The additional outbound flight, CA 990, departs John F. Kennedy

International Airport (JFK) on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 2:50 AM,

arriving in Beijing Capital International Airport (PEK) at 2:20 PM local time

the next day.  Inbound, CA 989 leaves Beijing at 9:00 AM and arrives in New

York at 10:20 AM local time the same day.

As the largest long-range twin-engine jetliner, the B777-300ER is cleaner and

greener.  It also brings twin-engine efficiency and reliability and delivers

better fuel performance.

Air China's Forbidden Pavilion (first class) features eight luxury suites, 41

full-flat bed seats in the Capital Pavilion (business class) and 259 economy

seats with individual monitors and in-seat audio-video on demand (AVOD).

Designed for maximum comfort, the interior of Air China's B777-300ER feature

ten mood lighting variations in the Forbidden and Capital Pavilions timed to
