◎エバスペヒャーがミクニと合弁会社設立契約に調印　日本での販売・流通を開始

【エスリンゲン（ドイツ）、東京2013年4月30日PRN＝共同JBN】株式会社ミクニとEberspaecher Climate Control Systems（エバスペヒャー クライメット コントロール システムズ インターナショナル、以後「エバスペヒャー」）の両社は合弁会社設立契約に調印した。新設されるエバスペヒャー ミクニ クライメット コントロール システムズ株式会社（Eberspaecher Mikuni Climate Control Systems Corporation）は小田原に本社を置き、車載空調用に設計された製品を日本で販売することを目的とする。

両社は、新会社の50%ずつの株式を保有する対等出資を行う。エバスヘヒャーのドイツ本社最高執行責任者（COO）のクラウス・ベーツ博士は「今回の企業提携は双方にとってプラスになる。エバスペヒャーにとっては、バス、建設車両、キャンピングカー、トラック向けの当社の革新的な車両空調用製品を日本市場で販売促進できる絶好の機会となる」と強調した。

エバスペヒャーはすでに名古屋に完全子会社を擁しており、この子会社はエバスペヒャーカテム（Eberspaecher catem）の電動PTC補助ヒーターの日本での販売・流通を引き続き担当する。一方、エバスペヒャーの車両用独立燃焼式ヒーターおよび車両用空調用製品は神奈川県小田原市に本社を有する新会社を通じて市場に提供される。相手先ブランドによる供給（OEM）ならびにアフターマーケットの取引先は車載ヒーター分野におけるミクニの広範な専門的技術に加え、小田原を拠点とする技術拠点からも大きなメリットを享受することになる。ミクニが保有する全国ディーラー網も新会社は活用し、両社の製品の販売やサービスに貢献することとなる。

株式会社ミクニは東京証券取引所に上場され、自動車産業向けの定評あるサプライヤーであり、エンジン用の給排気系部品および関連システムの部品を世界的に供給している。

Vehicle Climate Control for the Japanese Market: Mikuni and Eberspaecher set up Sales and Distribution Company

The two companies Mikuni Corporation and Eberspaecher Climate Control Systems

have signed a joint venture agreement. The aim of the newly established

Eberspaecher Mikuni Climate Control Systems Corporation headquartered in

Odawara is the sale and distribution of products designed for vehicle climate

control in Japan.

Both parties to the agreement have a 50 percent stake in the new company. "The

cooperative link-up is a win-win situation for both sides and, for

Eberspaecher, an outstanding opportunity to position our innovative climate

control products for buses, construction vehicles, motor homes and trucks even

better in the Japanese market", stresses Eberspaecher COO Dr. Klaus Beetz.

The supplier is already represented in the Japanese city of Nagoya in the form

of a wholly-owned subsidiary, which continues to be responsible for the sale

and distribution of the electrical PTC auxiliary heaters of Eberspaecher catem.

Eberspaecher pre-heaters and climate control products, on the other hand, will

be marketed in future via the new Odawara site. Customers from the OEM and

retrofitting business sectors will benefit not only from the extensive

expertise of Mikuni co-workers in the area of vehicle heaters but also from the

Test Center based there. The Japanese partner's nationwide dealer network will

in future be available for retrofitting and service in relation to

Eberspaecher's products.

Mikuni Corporation, which has operations throughout the world, is listed on the

Tokyo Stock Exchange and, as an established supplier to the automotive

industry, offers components for combustion engines and associated systems.
