＊CCSA（中国）、BWF（日本）、TTA（韓国）の標準化開発機関（SDO）は個別の覚書で、消費者アプリケーション向け磁気共鳴方式ワイヤレス電力伝送の世界的規格調整について重要な前進を示した

Alliance for Wireless Power（A4WP、http://www.a4wp.org/）は25日、China Communications Standards Association （CCSA、http://www.ccsa.org.cn/english/）、日本の横須賀リサーチパーク・ブロードバンドワイヤレスフォーラム（YRP-BWF、http://www.yrp.co.jp/en/yrprdc/exchange/bwf_e.html）、韓国のTelecommunications Technology Association（TTA、通信技術協会、http://www.tta.or.kr/English/）との間で個別に覚書を交わした。それぞれの覚書は、個別に独立管理されているワイヤレス電力伝送技術基準の要素としてA4WPベースライン・システム仕様（BSS）を採用することを目的としている。

A4WPの使命の中核となる要素は国、地域、国際的基盤に基づいて、個々のSDOと共同歩調を取って協力するというコミットメントである。各SDOは、それぞれ特定の規制、地元、世界市場の状況に対応してそれぞれのスケジュールに基づいて運営されている。アジアのSDOとのコラボレーションは、A4WPの半数以上のメンバーが中国圏、日本、韓国からであることから極めて重要である。

CCSAのヤン・ツェンミン理事長は「中国の標準化組織は世界のほとんどの業界がサポートし、世界市場で受け入れられている技術、標準を大いに採用したいと考えている。中国企業もまた国際標準化活動に貢献することを大変望んでいる。CCSAとA4WPの協力によって、A4WP標準から恩恵を受ける中国市場を育成する助けとなるし、ワイヤレス伝送に関する標準化活動に対する中国企業の貢献を促進することになる」と語った。

横須賀リサーチパーク・ブロードバンドワイヤレスフォーラム（YRP-BWF）の庄木裕樹ワイヤレス電力伝送標準開発部会長は「YRP-BWFワイヤレス電力伝送開発部会は、日本市場での技術標準を開発しており、日本の標準開発組織である電波産業会（ARIB）のための次世代ワイヤレス電力伝送技術の地域、国際的調整に加わっている。日本の国内技術標準としてBSSの採用に向けてA4WPと協力できて喜んでいる」と述べた。

チャシク・リムTTA理事長は「TTAはRezence（商標）認証の最初のテストラボであり、韓国企業はA4WPの国別メンバーの25%を占める2大のグループのひとつである。これは明らかに韓国がRezenceに大いに関心を持っている証拠である。TTAとA4WPの協力が強化されて喜んでおり、この強化された協力によって世界的なRezenceワイヤレス電力伝送製品市場が拡大することを確信している」と語った。

今回の新たなコラボレーションによって、Rezence磁気共鳴ベースのワイヤレス電力伝送技術の調整を通じたより迅速で広範な採用が期待され、業界と消費者に恩恵をもたらすことになる。

A4WPは2月24-27日バルセロナで開催される2014年モバイル・ワールド・コングレスのホール2、2J2スタンドでワイヤレス充電標準を紹介する。

A4WP Signs Wireless Power Technical Standards Collaboration Agreements with Leading Asia Standards Development Organizations

  -- Separate MoUs with CCSA (China), BWF (Japan) and TTA (Korea) SDOs mark

critical step towards global harmonization of magnetic resonance-based wireless

power transfer for consumer applications

    The Alliance for Wireless Power (A4WP) (http://www.a4wp.org/ ) today

announced the signing of separate memoranda of understanding with the China

Communications Standards Association (CCSA) (http://www.ccsa.org.cn/english/ ),

Japan's Yokosuka Research Park Broadband Wireless Forum (YRP-BWF)

(http://www.yrp.co.jp/en/yrprdc/exchange/bwf_e.html ) and Korea's

Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) (http://www.tta.or.kr/English/

) each aimed at the adoption of the A4WP baseline system specification (BSS) as

an element of respective, independently-managed national wireless power

transfer technical standards.

    A core element of the A4WP mission is a commitment to working

collaboratively with standards development organizations (SDO) on a national,

regional and international basis.  Each SDO operates according to its own

schedule in response to unique national regulatory, and local and global market

conditions.  Asia SDO collaborations are uniquely significant as more than half

of the A4WP membership is from Greater China, Japan or Korea.  

    "China standards organizations have always been willing to adopt the

technologies and standards which have been generally supported by the global

industry and accepted by the global market. China's enterprises are also very

active in contributing to the international standardization activities," said

CCSA Secretary General Zemin Yang.  "I believe the cooperation between CCSA and

A4WP will help to foster the Chinese market which will profit from A4WP

standards and to promote the contribution from Chinese industry to the global

standardization activities on wireless power transfer."

    "The YRP-BWF wireless power transmission working group develops technical

standards for the Japan market and participates in regional and international

harmonization of next-generation wireless power transfer technologies on behalf

of the Association of Radio Industries and Businesses (ARIB), a Japanese

standards development organization," said YRP-BWF wireless power transmission

working group chair Dr. Hiroki Shoki.  "We are pleased to collaborate with the

A4WP towards adoption of the BSS as a Japan national technical standard."

    "TTA became the first Rezence(TM) Authorized Test Lab and Korea companies

are one of the two largest contingents by country at 25% of total A4WP

membership.  These are clear indications of Korea's great interest in Rezence

technology," said Dr. Chasik Leem, TTA president.  "I am very pleased to see

the enhanced cooperation between TTA and A4WP, and I am confident that the

strengthened cooperation will contribute to the expansion of global Rezence

wireless power transmission product market."

    These new collaborations will benefit the industry and consumers with

anticipated more rapid, wider adoption through harmonization of Rezence

magnetic resonance based wireless power transfer technology.
