感情認識ソフトウェアを開発するAffectivaは、前回の2000万ドル（約22億円）の資金調達に続き、今回5月26日に1400万ドル（約15億円）の資金調達を実施。リードインベスターをFenox Venture Capitalが務めた。投資家にはIT＆ヘルスケアサービスの大手CAC Holdings、ゲームメーカー大手のセガサミーホールディングスが含まれており、今回の資金調達によって、Affectivaは感情AIの技術イノベーションを加速させ、グローバル市場への展開を強化する。
