Sigfoxエコシステムを通じて実現したSigfox認定かつ使用可能な最新モジュールのコストは、欧州、中東、アフリカ市場向けがほんの2米ドル、米州、アジア市場向けが3ドル弱である。

クラウドコネクテッド・デバイスが発展する世界において、高コストと短いバッテリー寿命は今後、過去のものとなる。この障壁はこれまでクラウドと通信するデバイスに必須の複雑なシリコンチップが原因だった。
