　　中国国際航空が６月1日から　

【北京２２日PRN＝共同JBN】米国の南カリフォルニア市場に対する中国国際航空（エアチャイナ）のコミットメントを反映して、毎日運航される中国国際航空として２番目のロサンゼルス－北京直行便（CA 988/CA 987）は、２０１２年６月１日に新世代旅客機のボーイングにアップグレードされる。今年２月、ロサンゼルス－北京間の夜間直行便（CA 984/CA 983）は、米国からの中国国際航空便として最初に環境に優しく、清潔で最も燃費の良い「トリプル・セブン（B777-300ER）」機を使用し始めた。中国国際航空はロサンゼルス－北京間の直行便サービスを提供する唯一の航空会社である。

中国国際航空の毎日運航されるニューヨーク－北京直行便は２０１２年１０月１日にB777-300ER機にアップグレードされ、サンフランシスコ行き直行便は２０１３年に同型機にアップグレードされる予定になっている。

中国国際航空の北米担当副社長兼ゼネラルマネジャーである池志航博士は「当社にとって米国便は最優先である。今年中にロサンゼルス発の２つの毎日運行される直行便とニューヨーク発直行便で使用される旅客機をB777-300ER機にアップグレードするのは、航空旅客に最高の製品を提供するという当社のコミットメントの表れである。B777-300ER機は飛行距離、積載量が強化された性能になっており、米国に出入国する当社の顧客に完ぺきにマッチしている」と語った。

「トリプル・セブン（777型）」機は、現在運行中や計画中のどの旅客機より広い胴体を持っている。同機は乗客の快適さと便利さが最大限になるよう設計されている。中国国際航空のファーストクラス「紫禁パビリオン」には８つ豪華なスイートがあり、「キャピタル・パビリオン」ビジネスクラスには４１のフラットシートが備わり、座席ごとにモニターとAVOD（オーディオ・ビデオ・オンデマンド）が備わった２５９のエコノミー席がある。

中国国際航空は、北京到着時にプレミア旅客に対し「ミート・アンド・グリート」サービスを提供している。英語と中国に堪能な中国国際航空の係員がゲートでこの旅客を出迎え、エスコートして入国管理、手荷物受取所、税関を通過して地上交通のある到着者出口まで付き添う。さらにすばらしいことに、プレミア旅客は搭乗予約の際に北京、上海、成都、広州、深センの空港からどの目的地に行くためにでも、運転手付きのBMWセダンを予め予約することができる。

Air China's Second Daily Nonstop Los Angeles-Beijing Flight Gets the New Generation Boeing 777-300ER Upgrade, June 1, 2012

    Reflecting on Air China's commitment to the Southern California market, the

airline's second daily nonstop flight between Los Angeles and Beijing (CA

988/CA 987) will be upgraded to the new-generation B777-300ER on June 1, 2012.  

In February this year, the Los Angeles-Beijing evening flight (CA 984/CA 983)

was the first Air China flight from the USA to use the greener, cleaner and

more fuel-efficient "triple seven."  Air China is the only airline that offers

nonstop service between these two cities.

    The airline's daily nonstop New York-Beijing route is scheduled to be

upgraded to the same aircraft on October 1, 2012.  In 2013, the San Francisco

daily nonstop flight is expected to have its own B777-300ER upgrade.

    The "triple seven" has a wider cabin than any competing airplane-current or

China's Forbidden Pavilion First Class features 8 luxury suites, 41 flat beds

in the Capital Pavilion business class and 259 economy seats with individual

monitors and AVOD (audio-video on demand).

    Air China offers its premium passengers with a personal "meet-and-greet"

service on arrival in Beijing.  An English and Chinese bilingual Air China

agent will meet the passenger at the gate; escort him/her to immigration,

baggage claim and customs all the way to the main exit at the arrival level for
