◎第17回アジア競技大会の公式計時企業に指名　　スイス時計メーカーTissot

【ル・ロクル（スイス）、仁川（韓国）2012年9月27日PRN＝共同JBN】スイスの大手時計メーカーTissotはこのほど、韓国の仁川で2014日9月19日から10月4日まで開催される第17回アジア競技大会のオフィシャルタイマーに指名された。

アジア競技大会は参加規模の点で、世界45カ国・領土から1万3000人のアスリートが36競技種目を競う最大の総合競技大会である。種目には陸上競技、バスケットボール、自転車といった従来の競技の他、セパタクロー、中国武術、カバディといったアジアの伝統競技も入っている。

仁川アジア競技大会組織委員会（IAGOC）のキム・ヨンス組織委員長は「これだけ多種目の競技に最大限の正確な計時を提供できるパートナーはティソ意外に考えられなかった。ティソはその豊富な経験によって、あらゆる課題にそれぞれ対応したアプローチを提供しており、アジア競技大会のようなイベントには理想的である」と語った。

Tissot, Official Timekeeper of the 17th Asian Games Incheon 2014

    Leading Swiss watchmaker, Tissot, has been named Official Timekeeper of the

17th Asian Games, taking place in Incheon, Republic of Korea, from September 19

to the October 4, 2014.

    The Asian Games is the largest multi-sport Games, in terms of participants,

giving 13'000 athletes from 45 countries and territories the chance to compete

in the 36 disciplines it showcases. Besides traditional sports like athletics,

basketball and cycling, they also feature traditional Asian sports such as

sepaktakraw, wushu and kabaddi.

    Kim Young-Soo, President of the Incheon Asian Games Organizing Committee

(IAGOC), stated, "We couldn't have chosen a better partner than Tissot to

provide these various disciplines with the utmost precision timing. Thanks to

is ideal for an event like the Asian Games."

    Tissot's passion for sport has developed into a comprehensive schedule of
