メキシコのグローバル航空会社であるアエロメヒコ航空は12月10日から、メキシコシティとニカラグアの首都マナグアを結ぶ週6便を運航すると発表した。

これにより、マナグアはアエロメヒコ航空の中米5番目の乗り入れ先、中南米では14番目の路線となり、乗客の世界各地への乗り継ぎ先がさらに増える。

メキシコがニカラグア第3の投資国、中南米諸国で第2の輸出先であることを考慮に入れると、両首都間の相互関係は新路線開設にともない、商業的、経済的、観光面で一層緊密になる。

アエロメヒコ航空の週6便のマナグア便は座席数76のエンブラエル170を使用する。フライトスケジュールは以下の通り。

    Aeromexico, Mexico's global airline, announces that starting on December

10th will connect Mexico City to Managua, Nicaragua, six times a week.

    With this development, Managua will be positioned as Aeromexico's 5th

Central American destination and the 14th place among Latin American routes

served by the airline, enabling its passengers to connect to more destinations

all over the world.

    As a result of this new route, bilateral relations between the two capitals

will become closer in commercial, economic and tourist terms, considering that

Mexico is the third largest investor in Nicaragua and its second largest

destination for exports among the countries of Latin America.  

    The six flights Aeromexico will be offering will be operated by an Embraer

170 aircraft, seating 76 passengers, with the following schedule:
