上海6時間耐久レース間近！

米国カリフォルニア州アーバイン（2014年10月31日）  世界を転戦する2014年FIA世界耐久選手権（WEC）は終盤を迎え、いよいよ第6戦上海6時間耐久レースが11月2日に開催されます。昨年度の上海戦にて3つのトロフィー獲得という快挙を成し遂げたアストンマーティン・レーシングは、今年も同地での活躍が期待され、世界中のレースファンから熱い注目を浴びています。

インターラッシュ（Interush, Inc.）がスポンサーを務める99番アストンマーティンV8ヴァンテージGTEのハンドルを握るのは、今シリーズでお馴染みとなったダリル・オーヤン、アレックス・マクドウェル、フェルナンド・リーズの3人。何千人ものインターラッシュおよびアストンマーティン・ファンが応援に駆け付け、インターラッシュ専用の応援席から99番カーへ熱い声援を送ることになっています。

3人のドライバーは、富士6時間耐久レースにて力強い走りを見せてキャリア初の表彰台獲得を果たしたばかり。上海でもその勢いを保ち、全力を尽くして戦いに挑む意欲に満ちています。舞台となる上海インターナショナルサーキットでの見どころは、オーバーテイクのポイントとなるヘアピンコーナーです。高度なドライビング技術が問われ、ドライバーたちにとってもエキサイティングなコースとなります。

2013年上海6時間耐久レースは観客動員数約3万人を記録しましたが、今年はモータースポーツへの人気の高まりが相まって、昨年以上の動員数が期待されます。さらに本レースをテレビ観戦する中国、香港、台湾、日本人視聴者は数百万人が予想され、また99番インターラッシュカーとアストンマーティン・チームを応援するためサーキットのスタンドに集結するアフィリエイトは少なくとも2000人に上るであろうと見込まれています。

Interush and Aston Martin Racing Fans Look Forward to the 6 Hours of Shanghai Race

   This year's FIA World Endurance Championship Series (WEC) has now passed its

midway point, with the upcoming 6 Hours of Shanghai Race on November 2nd

marking the sixth race of the series. Remembering the excitement of the Aston

Martin team dominating the Shanghai race last year with their three trophy

wins, international racecar fans across the globe are getting ready for this

exciting event in China.

   Drivers Darryl O'Young, Alex MacDowall and Fernando Rees will share the

racing in the Interush #99 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GTE. Thousands of Interush

and Aston Martin race enthusiasts will be in attendance to cheer them on,

rooting for #99 from the Interush-designated fan section.

   The talented drivers are very eager get back into #99 after the last 6-hour

endurance race in Fuji, Japan, as they display their skills on the infamous

hairpin turn that makes up part of the Shanghai International Circuit race

track.  The drivers claimed their first podium victory of the FIA WEC in Fuji,

and are looking forward to another strong performance in Shanghai.

   Last year, the 6 Hours of Shanghai Race drew crowds of nearly 30,000 who

came to experience the event live and as the sport rises in popularity, many

more are expected to show this November. Millions of television viewers in

China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan are also expected to watch the

championships. Interush expects at least 2,000 Affiliates to join and cheer for

the #99 Interush entry and all of the Aston Martin racecars from their special

fan section.
