サンパートナー・テクノロジーの増資に参加

フランス、エクサンプロバンス、2015年1月7日。サンパートナー・テクノロジーは、2014年の夏以降に開始した800万ユーロの新規増資計画の内、第一期400万ユーロの増資を完了します。NTT ドコモ・ベンチャーズは、2014年末に第一期増資にて、サンパートナー・テクノロジーに資本参加しました。

サンパートナー・テクノロジーは2014年中期より、世界で最もイノベーションに力を入れている国の一つで高い将来性がある日本において、開発に集中して投資を行っていくことを決めました。日本企業との最初の戦略パートナーシップ契約は2014年Q3に既に調印済みで、Wysips(R)テクノロジーを携帯電話またはカバーに搭載し商品化する予定です。NTTドコモ・ベンチャーズはサンパートナー・テクノロジーの成長をサポートするべく、2014年12月26日に資本参加致しました。

NTTドコモ・ベンチャーズの資本参加はサンパートナー・テクノロジーにとって重要な位置づけとなっています。サンパートナー・テクノロジーは、2015年初に日本に事務所の設置を計画しており、新たな日本企業とのパートナーシップ契約の調印を期待しています。NTTドコモ・ベンチャーズはNTTグループのコーポレート・ベンチャー・キャピタルです。NTTグループの事業はスマートフォンからスマートビルディングに渡る幅広いマーケット分野に携わっており、サンパートナー・テクノロジーの戦略目標に合致しています。

今回のサンパートナー・テクノロジーの増資計画は、日本を含む海外オフィスの設立、及び新規技術の量産の準備を整えるのが狙いです。Wysips(R)テクノロジーを搭載した最初の製品は掲示板・広告版・カバー製品・スマートウォッチ・スマートガラス・携帯電話の分野で2015年の商品化を予定しています。今回の資金調達により、サンパートナー・テクノロジーはR&D投資を続け、Li-Fi（光通信）レシーバープロジェクトの開発や太陽光発電テキスタイル技術をベースとしたSOLTEXプロジェクトの開発、温室設備へのアプリケーションをベースとしたPURPLE　SUNプロジェクトの開発を推進致します。

サンパートナー・テクノロジーの増資計画は2015年Ｑ２に完了し、合わせて800万ユーロの増資となります。第2期の400万ユーロの増資は現在協議推進中です。800万ユーロの増資が完了しましたら、合計増資額は3500万ユーロに到達します。

NTT DOCOMO Ventures Participates to the Current Fund Raising of Sunpartner Technologies

Sunpartner Technologies is finalizing the first round (4m EUR) of its new fund

raising (8m EUR) launched after the summer 2014. NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Inc.

invested into Sunpartner Technologies participating to this first round end of

2014

Since mid-2014, Sunpartner Technologies decided to significantly invest for its

development in Japan which represents a high potential as it is one of the most

innovative regions in the world. The first partnerships have already been

signed Q3 2014 with Japanese players to integrate Wysips technologies into

mobile phones or casing. On December 26, 2014, NTT DOCOMO Ventures became part

of Sunpartner Technologies in order to support its growth.

NTT DOCOMO Ventures investment is a key achievement for Sunpartner

Technologies. Indeed, Sunpartner Technologies plans to open an office in Japan

beginning of 2015 and wants to sign new agreements with Japanese companies. NTT

DOCOMO Ventures is the NTT Group's corporate venture capital firm. NTT group

companies with a very wide presence in many market segments from smartphones to

smart building has a perfect fit with Sunpartner Technologies strategic

objectives.

In fact, the new fund raising of Sunpartner Technologies is dedicated to the

launching of new international offices, including Japan, pursuing the

preparation of the mass production of its new technologies. First products

integrating Wysips technologies will be launched during 2015 in the field of

billboards and signs, casing & smart watch, smart glass & mobile phones. This

financing also enables Sunpartner Technologies to continue the investment in

R&D by developing the Li-Fi receiver project, the SOLTEX project, based on a

photovoltaic textile, and the PURPLE SUN project, a technology adapted to

greenhouses applications.

The fund raising initiated by Sunpartner Technologies will be finalized Q2 2015

to reach 8m EUR. Several discussions are in progress for the second round of 4m EUR

required to close the capital increase. Once Sunpartner Technologies raises

8m EUR, the company will reach a total of 35m EUR fund raising.
