【オーバーンヒルズ（米ミシガン州）2020年1月2日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】45年にわたる勤務の後、Nexteerのマイケル・P・リチャードソン（Michael P. Richardson）社長兼取締役は1月2日、退任を発表した。タオ・リュー（Tao Liu）上級副社長兼グローバル最高執行責任者（COO）とNexteerの上級幹部チームがリチャードソン氏の職務を引き継ぐ。

リチャードソン氏は、ケタリング大学で工学学士号取得を目指しながら、1974年に旧Saginaw Steering Gear Divisionでキャリアを開始した。その後の40年間、同氏は米国、フランス、中国で専門職、製造、エンジニアリング、経営指揮にわたる広範な職務に就いた。2013年にNexteerの取締役、2016年に社長に任命された。

Nexteer President Michael P. Richardson Announces Retirement

After 45 years of service, Nexteer's President and Executive Board Director

Michael P. Richardson announces his retirement today. Senior Vice President and

Global Chief Operating Officer, Tao Liu, and Nexteer's senior leadership team

will assume Richardson's duties going forward.

Richardson began his career in 1974 at the former Saginaw Steering Gear

Division while studying for his bachelor's degree in engineering at Kettering

University. Over the next four decades, he held a broad range of assignments

across skilled trades, manufacturing, engineering and business leadership

within the US, France and China. He was appointed Nexteer's Executive Board

Director in 2013 and appointed President in 2016.
