IPTEはShanghai Commerce Association（上海商務協会）、Shanghai Food Association（上海食品協会）、Shanghai Internet of Things Industry Association（上海インターネット・オブ・シングス産業協会）が共催し、70以上の大手企業がトレーサビリティー・ソリューションを展示した。Shanghai Vegetable Group、Hema Fresh Market（アリババグループが保有）、Shanghai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.のような産業リーダーは展示会で最先端のトレーサビリティー技術とともに、新しい小売りの考え方を華々しく実演した。
