【フリーモント（米カリフォルニア州）１７日PRN＝共同JBN】米シリコンバレーの非上場企業で、世界の携帯電話、パソコン、デジタル機器のハードウエア製造企業にイメージングとマルチメディア・ソフトウエア・ソリューションを提供しているアークソフト社（ArcSoft, Inc.）はこのほど、ドルビー社を相手取りライセンス契約違反などで訴訟を起こした。アークソフトは、ドルビー社がライセンス契約違反を犯した他、アークソフトに対してアークソフトが部外秘としている顧客情報を開示するよう強要して監査権を乱用し、ドルビー社の携帯電話市場における事業拡大活動で不公平な優位を得ようとした、と主張している。
