「雇用及び競争力に関する大統領諮問委員会」は２０１１年にオバマ大統領が設立し、経済界、労働界、学識経験者などが参加して、雇用創出の方法や米国の競争力強化について様々な観点からの意見を提供している。最近では今年１月にホワイトハウス内で開かれ、米国経済と雇用創出に関する提言をオバマ大統領に提出した。
オペレーション・ホープの設立者であるジョン・ホープ・ブライアント（John Hope Bryant）会長兼最高経営責任者（CEO）は過去３年間、座長として金融能力協議会のメンバーを務めてきた。最近では、同協議会の「サービスが届かない人々とコミュニティー権限」に関する小委員会の委員長に任命された。

At the invitation of Operation HOPE, President Obama's Council on Jobs and
Competitiveness

announced today it will host a listening and action session of the council and
its members in South Los Angeles on the occasion of Operation HOPE's
20thanniversary Bus Tour.
The HOPE Opportunity Bus Tour will commemorate 20 years of inspiring
leadership and action from a diverse group of local leaders representing local
government, private sector corporations, as well as community and faith based

The Jobs Council, which includes leaders from business, labor and academia,
was created by the President in 2011 to provide diverse perspectives and ideas
on how to create jobs and strengthen our nation's competitiveness. It last met
at the White House in January to convey recommendations on the economy and job
creation to President Obama.
The council works alongside the President's Advisory Council on Financial
Capability to provide analysis and policy recommendations around social and
economic issues facing the nation.
Operation HOPE Founder, Chairman and CEO John Hope Bryant has served as a
member of the Financial Capability Council for the last three sitting
presidents. He was recently appointed to chair the Subcommittee on the
Underserved and Community Empowerment for the Council on Financial Capability.
