◎最終候補者出そろう　　スコットランド・ファッション・アワード

【グラスゴー（英スコットランド）２３日PRN＝共同JBN】スコットランド・ファッション・アワードはこのほど、２０１２年の受賞候補者リストを発表した。この授賞式の催しは英国スコットランドのグラスゴーで国際的なスタイリストのアレクサ・チャングの司会で６月１２日に開催される。授賞式は、世界のファッション界における最も影響力のあるスコットランド出身者を顕彰する。さらにこの催しは、スコットランドから新人や新興のタレントを発掘する比類のないプラットフォームを提供し、影響力のある業界トップ、デザイナー、モデル、小売企業、セレブが出席し、ファッション、デザイン、布地の分野でスコットランドが提供すべき最高の商品を祝うことになる。候補者リストに並んで登場する著名人にはジョナサン・サンダーズ、クリストファー・ケイン、ホリー・フルトン、ルイーズ・グレイ、ソニア・リキエルのクリエーティブ・ディレクターであるエイプリル・クライトン各氏や布地大手のホウィック・カシミア、カーリー・ミル、ダッシング・ツイーズが参加する。また将来のスコットランド・ファッション界を担う若手からは、オブスシキュアクチュール、ヘイリー・スキャンラン、ジェニファー・モリス、ボニー・ブリングから世界でスーパーモデルとして活躍しているタリ・レノックス、アマンダ・ヘンドリック、ルイス・ギャロウェーらがホスト役を務める。今年のコミュニケーター分野のラインアップは英国のファッション・エディター総出の感があり、ハーパーズ・バザール誌、ヴォーグ・ドットコム（http://vogue.com）、タイムズ誌の代表がルイヴィトンや国際的男子用ブランドのドゥシャンプのクリエイティブ代表とともに参加する。さらに「国際的デザイナーによるスコットランド産布地使用最優秀賞」国際部門が設けられており、トップブランドのマルベリー、APC、コリーニールセン、ブローラが含まれている。

最終候補者は写真家のランキン、サラ・マイノ（イタリア・ヴォーグ）、ポーラ・リード（グラツィア）、ジョアンナ・コールズ（マリ・クレール）、トリッシュ・ハルピン（マリ・クレール）、サラ・ムーアー（米ヴォーグ）、アイリド・マッカスキル（インスタイル）の各氏を含む世界のファッション大手、業界プレーヤー、著名人ら専門家による特別パネルが審査する。優勝者は英スコットランド、グラスゴーのクライド・オーディトリアムにおける華々しい授賞式・祝賀会で発表される。この催しでは、候補者によるショー、や音楽ショーが行われ、英国初となるスワロフスキーの２０１２年冬物「英国のジュエリー・ファッション／クチュール・コレクション」のプレビューが特別に開催される。このコレクションはパリ在住のクリエーティブ・ディレクターであるナタリー・コリン氏による。授賞式のあとは選ばれたVIPのための夕食会が催される予定。

Scottish Fashion Awards 2012 Nominees Announced

     The Scottish Fashion Awards have announced an impressive nominee shortlist

for 2012. The event, which will be hosted by international style icon Alexa

Chung on 11th June in Glasgow, recognizes the most influential global Scottish

players in fashion. It also provides an unrivalled platform for new and

emerging talent hailing from Scotland and is attended by influential industry

leaders, designers, models, retailers and celebrities and celebrates the best

of what Scotland has to offer in fashion, design and textiles. A host of high

profile names are amongst the nominee shortlist including Jonathan Saunders,

Christopher Kane, Holly Fulton, Louise Gray, April Crichton for Sonia Rykiel,

to textile leaders like Hawick Cashmere, Caerlee Mill and Dashing Tweeds. There

are a host of young guns shaping Scotland's fashionable future like Obscure

Couture, Hayley Scanlan, Jennifer Morris and Bonnie Bling to a scattering of

global supermodels including Tali Lennox, Amanda Hendrick and Louis Galloway.

This year the Communicator category line up reads like the A-Z of Britain's top

fashion editors with reps from Harpers Bazaar, Vogue.com [http://vogue.com ]

and The Times being included along with creative stars from Louis Vuitton and

international menswear brand Duchamp. There is also International Category for

'Best Use of Scottish fabric by an International Designer', which includes top

fashion brands like Mulberry, APC, Corrie Nielson and Brora.

    The finalists will be judged by an exclusive panel made up of professionals

from the worlds leading fashion houses, industry players and leading figures in

style including photographer Rankin, Sara Maino (Italian Vogue), Paula Reed

(Grazia), Joanna Coles (Marie-Claire), Trish Halpin (Marie-Claire) Sarah Mower

(US Vogue), and Eilidh MacAskill (InStyle). Winners will be announced at the

glittering awards ceremony and gala at The Clyde Auditorium, Glasgow, Scotland.

The event will feature nominee catwalk shows, top music acts and an exclusive

Swarovski runway show, previewing for the first time in the UK the upcoming

Winter 2012 'Kingdom of Jewels' fashion and couture collections, created by

Nathalie Colin, the Paris based Creative Director. A Gala VIP dinner for select

guests will follow thereafter.

    Now a firm fixture on Swarovski's International Red Carpet Calendar which

includes The Golden Globes, The Oscars, Cannes Film Festival and The Scottish

Fashion Awards, the event will be led by founder and Chair Tessa Hartmann, who
