◎韓国筆記具企業ジェヨン社を買収　　英国のフィルトローナ社

【リッチモンド（米バージニア州）２４日PRN＝共同JBN】英国のフィルトローナ社（Filtrona plc）は２４日、同社企業部門、ポーラス・テクノロジーズ（Filtrona Porous Technologies）がジェヨン社（Jae Yong Co. Ltd.）保有の全株式の買収を完了したと発表した。

ジェヨン社は韓国を拠点とする世界的に知られた筆記具産業向けの油性インク筒、ペン先、胴部製造企業である。ジェヨンの取得によってフィルトローナ・ポーラス・テクノロジーズの筆記具産業界向け提供製品は、インク調節部材からマーカーペン、蛍光ペンインク使用筆記具に欠かせないその他の部材に拡張されることになる。この取引によって、フィルトローナ・ポーラス・テクノロジーズは成長を続けるアジア太平洋地域での地理的プレゼンスを高めることになる。

Filtrona plc ("Filtrona") today announces that it has completed the acquisition

of 100% of the share capital of Jae Yong Co. Ltd ("Jae Yong") in its Porous

Technologies division.

Based in South Korea, Jae Yong is a globally recognized manufacturer of

reservoirs, nibs, and tubes for the writing instruments industry. The

acquisition of Jae Yong expands Filtrona Porous Technologies' offering in the

writing instrument industry from ink-management reservoirs to include other

critical components for markers, highlighters, and ink-based writing

instruments.  The transaction also enhances the division's geographic presence

in the growing Asia-Pacific region.
