◎最優秀航空運賃比較サイト賞を受賞　　スカイスキャナー

【シンガポール１０日PRN＝共同JBN】国際航空便の比較サイトであるスカイスキャナー（Skyscanner、http://www.skyscanner.com）はこのほど、「２０１２年アジア太平洋オンライン・トラベル・イノベーション」（Asia Pacific 2012 Online Travel Innovation）賞で、Wego、DOHOP、Kayakの検索サイトを上回り、「最優秀航空運賃比較メタサーチ」（Best Airfare Comparison Metasearch）サイト賞を獲得した。

トラベルモールと「２０１２年アイフォートラベル＆トラベルディストリビューション・サミット・アジア」との共催で５月９、１０の両日、シンガポールで開かれた同賞審査には１２０以上の企業が候補に挙がった。

スカイスキャナーのアジア太平洋ディレクターであるイワン・グレイ氏は「この賞を受賞できてうれしい。これは、われわれが短期間にアジア太平洋地域で大きく成長したことに対する賞賛である。われわれは、昨年シンガポールにアジア太平洋拠点を開設して以来、当社の第１の目標に設定した市場で大きな成長を遂げ、多数のユーザーがアジア・オーストラリアでスカイスキャナーから毎月恩恵を受けている」と語った。

スカイスキャナーは今回の賞のほかに、英企業に授与される最高の栄誉である著名な英国女王賞・国際貿易部門賞（Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade）、デロイト・テクノロジー・ファースト５０（Deloitte Technology Fast 50）、トラベル・マーケティング・アワーズ（Travel Marketing Awards）、サンデー・タイムズの勤務するベスト１００企業（Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For）、サンデー・タイムズ・マイクロソフト・テック・トラック（Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track）などを受賞している。

スカイスキャナーは２０１１年９に同社アジア太平洋チームが拠点を置くシンガポール・オフィスを開設した。同社は韓国、中国、ニュージーランド、フィリピン、インドネシア、インド、日本、タイ、香港、シンガポールなどのアジア太平洋の数カ国からスタッフを雇用している。

] has won 'Best Airfare Comparison Metasearch' site at the Asia Pacific 2012

Online Travel Innovation awards, beating Wego, Dohop and Kayak.

    Over 120 companies were nominated for the awards, which are held in

association with TravelMole and EyeforTravel Travel Distribution Summit Asia

2012, and hosted in Singapore (May 9-10).

    Ewan Gray, Skyscanner Director for Asia Pacific, commented:
