【エスプー（フィンランド）2012年5月29日PRN＝共同JBN】Bluegiga Technologiesは29日、同社の組み込みWi-FiモジュールであるBluegiga WF111とBluegiga WF121の発売を発表した。新しいモジュールは、一体化が容易な表面実装パッケージの中に小型で信頼性があり長距離の有効通信距離があるWi-Fi接続を必要とする組み込みアプリケーションに最適である。２種類のモジュールとも、優れたRF性能、低消費電力、小型サイズであるCambridge Silicon RadioのUniFi（登録商標）チップセットを利用している。

Bluegiga WF121モジュールは、15.4mm×26.2mmの面積に中に完全統合の2.4Ghz 802.11 b/g/n無線とIPスタックを提供する独立型のWi-Fiモジュールである。同モジュールは、さまざまなペリフェラルと接続できる柔軟なインターフェースを備え、単純で低コスト／低電力のワイアレスTCP/IP接続を必要とする組み込みアプリケーションのために設計された。Bluegiga WF121モジュールはまた、アクセスポイントの発見、関連付け、接続確立などの接続機能を管理する強力だが使いやすいコマンド・インターフェースであるBluegiga Wi-Fi（登録商標）ソフトウエアも同梱されている。WF121はまた、BluegigaのBGScript（商標）プログラミング言語をサポートしており、開発者は数時間でWF121にアプリケーションを直接組み込むことができる。

Bluegiga Technologies today announced the availability of its line of embedded

Wi-Fi modules: Bluegiga WF111 and Bluegiga WF121. The new modules are ideal for

embedded applications requiring small, reliable, long range Wi-Fi connectivity

in an easy to integrate surface mount package. Both modules utilize Cambridge

Silicon Radio's UniFi(R) CSR6031 chipset which has excellent RF performance, low
