◎ワールドデザインキャピタル・ヘルシンキのパビリオンがオープン

【ヘルシンキ2012年6月4日PRN＝共同JBN】フィンランドの首都ヘルシンキは現在、

デザインで埋め尽くされている。他のさまざまな多くのデザイン活動に加えて、「ワールドデザインキャピタル（WDC）ヘルシンキ2012」の中心会議場であるパビリオン（http://wdchelsinki2012.fi/en/pavilion）がヘルシンキにオープンした。このパビリオンは夏の間、WDCヘルシンキ2012の中心になる。パビリオンではだれでもワールドデザインキャピタル年とは何かを見て経験することができる。

パビリオンは木造で、アールト大学（http://living.aalto.fi/en）ウッドスタジオの学生グループと新しい時代を代表する専門家がフィンランドの木造建築の最高のノウハウを使って設計した。日当たりのよい建物なので訪問者は最高の夏を楽しむことができる。建物の屋根で覆われている部分の面積は470平方メートルである。

パビリオンは、2012年5月12日から9月16日の火曜日から日曜日までの午前11時から午後9時まで開かれている。プログラムは週単位の時間表に基づいており、パビリオンのウェブサイト（http://wdchelsinki2012.fi/en/pavilion）で調べることができる。毎日、討論会、ワークショップ、活動、音楽や映画を楽しむ会がある。プログラムは周辺の博物館が提供する多機能な展示、デザインディストリクトヘルシンキ（http://www.designdistrict.fi/news）での多くの活動が加わって完全なものになる。

地元で育てた夏の食品を提供するカフェもパビリオンで営業し、読書コーナーが話題の書物や文書保管所の宝の山を探索するように来訪者を招く。カートショップがWDCヘルシンキ2012の製品を提供する。

World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 Invites all Those who Love Design, Architecture and Urban Culture!

     Helsinki, the capital of Finland, is now filled with design. In addition

to the large variety of other design activities, World Design Capital Helsinki

2012 has opened it's central meeting place, the Pavilion

[http://wdchelsinki2012.fi/en/pavilion ]. It will form the heart of the WDC

Helsinki 2012 for the summer months. In the Pavilion everyone can experience

what the world design capital year is all about.

    The wooden pavilion designed by a group of Aalto University

[http://living.aalto.fi/en ] Wood Studio students and specialists represents

architecture of a new era and top know-how of Finnish wood construction. The

sunny building allows the visitor to enjoy the best parts of summer. The area

of the covered part of the building is 470 m2.

    The Pavilion is open from Tuesday to Sunday, 12 May-16 September 2012, from

11 am to 9 pm. The programme is based on a weekly timetable and it can be

There are daily discussions, workshops, activity and socializing with music and

film. The programme will be complemented by the versatile exhibition offering

of the surrounding museums, and the numerous activities at Design District

Helsinki [http://www.designdistrict.fi/news ].

    A cafe serving locally grown summer food will also operate in the Pavilion,

as well as a reading corner inviting visitors to browse topical publications

and treasures of the archives. A push cart shop will offer WDC Helsinki 2012

products.
